On last week’s Friday Night SmackDown, R-Truth had a backstage bit with Funaki and asked Funaki what his full name was; Funaki responded with his first name being "Kung", his middle name being "Fu" and his last name being "Naki", which put together is Kung Fu Naki. Turns out that this is his new gimmick as he appeared on SmackDown this week in full kung-fu getup and his name has been changed on the SmackDown Roster page of WWE.com. For the record, his real name is Shoichi Funaki.
