The wife of the late WWE Hall of Famer High Chief Peter Maivia and
grandmother of The Rock, Leah Maivia, passed away on Sunday at the age of
81. Leah took over as a promoter of NWA Polynesian Pro Wrestling after her
husband passed away and ran the business for six more years. Leah was
present at the induction ceremony this year when her husband and son-in-law
were both inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame and also appeared during
WrestleMania XXIV when the HOF segment came up. We offer our condolences to
the Maivia family and friends.
