TNA: New Legal Team Hired To Handle All Contract Negotiations And Lawsuits

Several months ago TNA hired an outside legal consultant, Guy Blake, who is a Partner in the Beverly Hills Law Firm of Davis, Shapiro, Lewit & Hayes, LLP., to assist the company in contract and other legal issues.

Davis Shapiro Lewit & Hayes, LLP is a boutique entertainment law firm with offices in New York, Beverly Hills, and San Francisco. The firm’s lawyers handle all legal matters arising in the entertainment industry, with a strong emphasis in music, digital rights, and branded entertainment. The firm shares a strategic alliance with the Beverly Hills law firm Bloom Hergott Diemer Rosenthal LaViolette & Feldman, LLP, which has a premiere practice specializing in film and television work.

Davis Shapiro’s clients include a wide array of individual clients ranging from some of the world’s most successful musical talent (including recording artists, songwriters, producers, composers, and music supervisors) and promising new acts, to large existing entertainment companies and small independent and start-up companies and ventures.

The firm is both well-rooted in the traditions of the music and other entertainment industries, and on the forefront of cutting-edge deals in all areas of new media.

Mr. Blake visited the TNA Nashville offices in September for several days of meetings with Dixie Carter & Dean Broadhead, among others, and was involved in at least some of the negotiation of Kevin Nash’s contract.

Previously, most TNA legal work was done by Steve Campbell who works out of the Panda Dallas offices.
