Shane McMahon made an appearance to answer Randy Orton’s ultimatum of either Mike Adamle is fired as General Manager of RAW or Randy Orton quits. Mike Adamle came out and announced to Shane & the world that he was resigning as RAW GM. Shane then announced that Randy Orton has been cleared to compete for weeks and announces Orton’s return to the ring against CM Punk. Shane also announced that whoever left the main event as World Champion would defend the title against the returning John Cena at Survivor Series.

After the Punk/Orton match, Orton punted Ted DiBiase in the head. DiBiase had to be rolled out on a stretcher.
