SmackDown General Manager Vickie Guerrero announced that on next week’s SmackDown (taped this past Tuesday as well), Jeff Hardy will face WWE Champion Triple H in a non-title match and if Jeff wins, he will be added to the WWE Title Match at Survivor Series, making it a Triple Threat.
The Extreme Rules Match between Jeff Hardy & The Undertaker was the first Extreme Rules Match (by name) to take place on SmackDown. All previous ones have taken place on either RAW or ECW. The last Extreme Rules Match took place on August 12 when Tommy Dreamer faced Colin Delaney.
