WWE: Early Buyrate For Survivor Series Disappoints

The Wrestling Observer is reporting that the early buyrate numbers are in for 2008’s WWE Survivor Series PPV, and at this point the figures don’t paint a very positive picture. With the draw having pretty high expectations going into the event, which was centered around the return of John Cena, the PPV only drew 205,000 domestic buys, making it the lowest ordered Survivor Series, in North America, in the history of the event. The show ended up drawing 326,000 buys in total, which surprisingly places it behind 2007’s event which did NOT feature John Cena on the card.
