A few days ago creative team member John Carle was released from his writing duties on Smackdown and details of the reason behind this have now emerged. The Wrestling Observer is now reporting that his release was mainly due to a physical altercation Carle had with fellow Smackdown writer Chris DeJoseph (aka Big Dick Johnson) on a rental car shuttle in front of several witnesses. Following the incident, Carle was removed from the road however DeJoseph was allowed to stay on the road with WWE, which gives a slight indication as to who management felt was in the right in that situation.
