SSP: First Ever Miss WrestleMania?

Who will be the first ever Miss Wrestlemania? There”s a question. I”m going to totally ignore those that might not actually care and direct this edition of the Shooting Star Press to those that actually do.
We don”t know who the 25 participants of this Battle Royal are going to be and probably won”t know all of them until the night. I am going to go over the 25 I think are going to compete and whom I am going to pick for the win.
The 25 are as follows:

  1. Melina
  2. Maryse
  3. Mickie James
  4. Beth Phoenix
  5. Kelly Kelly
  6. Candice Michelle
  7. Jillian Hall
  8. Layla
  9. Rosa Mendes
  10. Brie Bella
  11. Nikki Bella
  12. Eve Torres
  13. Michelle McCool
  14. Maria
  15. Natalya
  16. Katie Lea Burchill
  17. Alicia Fox
  18. Trish Stratus
  19. Alundra Blayze
  20. Gail Kim
  21. Jackie Gayda
  22. Wendi Richter
  23. Ivory
  24. Sunny
  25. Torrie Wilson

Now some of them may be wishful thinking but I am taking several things into consideration here. Mae Young is a no due to her age. Lita said no because of Bookers festival but that could change in the morning. Debra, Nora Greenwald and Terri Runnels said no and Victoria has only just retired. Others include Sable, Chyna, The Kat, Jazz and Tori among others, which also could happen in the morning. I just think the above list is more feasible and has enough of a draw.
If this is a success then the WWE can simply offer those that haven”t appeared this year to appear next year.
I am not going to go over all the participants one by one, I”m just going to go over the ones I believe have a chance of winning.
Melina
The WWE Women”s Champion. This could make her year after the comeback and  winning the title”.It could really cement Melina in WWE Womens history.
Ivory
A legend as far as the WWE Womens Title is concerned. A great wrestler who could top off her career by having the title Miss Wrestlemania.
Sunny
Argued as the reason why the Diva”s are as beautiful as they are today and one of the greatest valets ever. This would be a nice thank you and a nice title to top her career.
Torrie Wilson
Playboy playmate and always a fan favourite. Could be one for the crowd if Torrie takes the title home.
Kelly Kelly
She”s got something special and is working damn hard to show everybody. I don”t think I”ve seen anyone improve so quickly since the days of Trish. This could be the start of a big push for Kelly Kelly.
Mickie James
One of the best women Wrestlers the WWE has had in recent history and can be argued as one of the best ever. She”s closing in on Trish”s title record and could break away with it as Miss Wrestlemania.
Beth Phoenix
The strongest of the WWE Diva”s. A force to be reckoned with. With the help of Rosa, Beth could take out everybody in the Battle Royal and remain as the Diva not to be messed with.
Michelle McCool
The type of heel you just want to smack around the place. She”s never easy to shut up and if she wins this she never will be”.but then again”.putting this title on a heel might be the best thing for it.
Maryse
Maryse is my joint favourite to win this match. I think out of the current roster Maryse deserves to win it above all. She”s got the heel thing down. She”s the heel you love to hate, and if you”re a guy”you just love her. Giving Maryse this title will fuel her ego and ensure we remember this match by the time next years Mania comes along.
Trish Stratus
In my opinion Trish should win this match if she does indeed take part. She”s had her run and may be back for a match or two in the future but I can”t see her working a full time schedule again”.With that said”Trish is one of the greatest, if not the greatest WWE Diva of all time, she truly deserves to become the First Miss Wrestlemania.

With the above out of the wait is time for another “Good Idea, Bad Idea!”

Good Idea

* Putting Christian into Money in the Bank.

Bad Idea

* As is stands”.Not putting Rey Mysterio into Money in the Bank”..The only was this is anyway a Good Idea”..is if Rey is taking part in another match up that actually means something.

On a side Note I would like to send my deepest condolences to the friends and family of Andrew “Test” Martin. Thank you for entertaining us! RIP.
This has been another edition of the Shooting Star Press.
