F4WOnline.com reported that WWE offered Hall of Famer Ric Flair a quarter
of a million dollars per year to return full time to the company as the
on-air general manager of Smackdown. Flair however refused the deal and
preferred to continue working independently doing autograph signings,
special appearances and other wrestling-related events. Flair left WWE in
July of last year after he was appointed to the role of WWE ambassador.
