Tomorrow (May 23) will be the tenth anniversary of the death of Owen Hart, who died on May 23, 1999 at the Over The Edge event in Kansas City, MO. As The Blue Blazer, Owen was set to make a big entrance from the rafters (like Shawn Michaels), but the harness malfunctioned and Owen fell 78 feet to the top ring rope and landed on his chest. The official cause of death was internal bleeding from blunt force trauma (landing on the top rope). Owen would have been 44 years old on May 7. Owen is a former Intercontinental, European, & World Tag Team Champion. He also won two Slammy Awards and was the King of the Ring in 1994.
