The Wrestling Observer is reporting that Tony Atlas’ future with WWE may be in doubt as he is no longer managing Mark Henry due to the 15 man WWE trade which took place on Raw this past week.
It’s being reported that WWE plans to push Mark Henry as a top babyface, which doesn’t leave much room for Tony Atlas on Raw as he was managing Henry in ECW while he was a top heel.
Atlas originally signed a one year deal with WWE back in July of 2008, so his contract is expiring in the very near future. It is unknown at this time whether or not WWE will re-sign the ring legend, but until they decide Atlas is still being listed as a member of the ECW roster.
