Former Divas champion Maryse underwent knee surgery in Birmingham, AL.,
earlier this week under the care of Dr Jeffrey Dugas at the Alabama Sports
Medicine and Orthopaedic Center. Dugas, who works with Dr James Andrews, is
the one who also performed the surgery on Batista in December 2008. Maryse
earlier posted on her Twitter that she is now "bionic" and thanked Dugas for
his amazing work and for saving her leg. She has been having knee problems
since the end of last year and after dropping the belt last Sunday at Night
of Champions it was decided that she finally undergoes surgery.
