The opening match of the night was from SmackDown and saw "The Guru of Greatness" John Morrison continue his winning streak by defeating Tyson Kidd. The downfall for "The Crown Prince" came when the referee ejected Tyson Kidd’s Hart Dynasty teammates from ringside.
