In past years, WWE has been very careful not to schedule against the NFL playoffs, especially when it comes to the Royal Rumble PPV. But on January 24th, 2010, the WWE Royal Rumble will go against either the AFC Championship game on CBS or NFC Championship game on FOX. WWE traditionally runs the event between the Championship games and Super Bowl week. In 2003, the Rumble went against the games and the buy rate suffered. Now fans of both will have to choose between the NFL and WWE on that Sunday.
