Despite a valiant effort by Santino, the proud Italian Superstar succumbed to the devastating and unbreakable Masterlock, giving Chris Masters the victory.
With the new #1 Contender to the ECW Title, Zack Ryder, on commentary, ECW Champion Christian went one-on-one with "The Ripper" Paul Burchill in a non-title match. In an incredible match between two of the ECW elite, "Captain Charisma" was able to come out of the match with a victory over Paul Burchill; all in front of his #1 Contender, Zack Ryder.
