The injury WWE Divas Champion Melina suffered earlier this week is a torn ACL. She will undergo surgery soon. Melina appeared at the WWE live event the following night backstage and was on crutches. It’s not confirmed but expected that she will drop the belt to Maryse on RAW. WWE has had plans for a few weeks now to put the belt on Maryse anyway.
Melina is expected to be out of action for a few months and has already been pulled from WWE live event line-ups through the month of February.
