Another WWE Release: WWE.com announced on Sunday that World Wrestling Entertainment has come to terms on the release of SmackDown Superstar Charlie Haas. Charlie Haas debuted in the WWE on December 26, 2002 and in his just over seven year WWE career, Haas held the WWE Tag Team Titles three times (twice with Shelton Benjamin and once with Rico). Haas also claimed a Slammy Award in 2008 for “Best Impersonation”. Haas’ final television appearance for the WWE was on the January 22 edition of SmackDown.

The 875th edition of WWE Monday Night RAW came to you, live, from the Ford Center in Oklahoma City, OK. The legendary comedy duo of Cheech & Chong would serve as the Guest Co-Hosts of RAW as the duo will no doubt be looking to take RAW to a “higher” level. Following his horrendous parking lot accident that left him with a broken leg two weeks ago on RAW, Bret “Hitman” Hart would appear on RAW to deliver his “farewell” to the WWE. Following the complete implosion of the Randy Orton, Cody Rhodes, & Ted DiBiase trio last week, this week’s RAW would see Randy Orton take on his former protégé, Ted DiBiase. Also on RAW, the fourth inductee for the 2010 WWE Hall of Fame would be announced as a WWE Legend would join Wendi Richter, Antonio Inoki, & “The Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase in the WWE Class of 2010.

Monday Night RAW
Good Week For: MVP & Jack Swagger (both qualified for the Money-in-the-Bank Ladder Match at WrestleMania)
Bad Week For: Triple H & Shawn Michaels (were unable to regain the Unified WWE Tag Team Titles and Triple H was assaulted and laid out by Sheamus)

And The Rest of the Story…

Just twenty-seven days before he puts his career on the line to try and end the streak of The Undertaker at WrestleMania, Shawn Michaels opens the show and states that there is a “buzz” around the WWE locker room and that everyone thinks he is “crazy” to put his career on the line against The Undertaker. HBK states that when he walks the halls of the locker room, everyone averts their eyes as they do not think that he can beat The Undertaker at WrestleMania! Michaels continues that it is an “undeniable fact” that he is “Mr. WrestleMania” and proclaims that he “believes” that he can beat The Undertaker and end the streak at WrestleMania! HBK then challenges any of his “peers” who doubt him to come out and tell him to his face that he can not beat The Undertaker! Wasting no time in answering the challenge, Triple H comes out to address his longtime friend! “The Game” tells HBK that he does not “think” that Michaels can win, he “knows” he can win! Triple H then tells HBK that Michaels is the best he has ever been in the ring with and says that, in the locker room, HBK has “no peers”! Triple H then assures his friend that DX will “never die” and that it will be a “long time” before the fans see DX in the ring together again! “The Game” then says that he does not want the last image of DX to be them losing the Unified WWE Tag Team Titles and reveals that he has invoked their rematch clause to face The Miz & Big Show for the Unified WWE Tag Team Titles on RAW! Triple H then tells HBK that, the night after WrestleMania, they will throw a “celebration like only DX can throw” and proclaims that, on that night, Michaels will be known as “the man who ended The Undertaker’s streak”! Triple H then tells HBK that he “believes” that the career of Shawn Michaels will continue following WrestleMania and that he will beat The Undertaker at WrestleMania! Triple H then asks Michaels what he “believes” and HBK proclaims that he “believes” that they are going to regain the Unified WWE Tag Team Titles! Can DX regain the Unified WWE Tag Team Titles from The Miz & Big Show or will the new tag team champions thwart the banner month that DX intends to have?

Then it was time for the opening match of the night as the former mentor would face the former protégé; as Randy Orton would face the man who eliminated him in the Elimination Chamber Match for the WWE Championship eight nights earlier, Ted DiBiase. Randy Orton was set to finish his former protégé with the RKO, but Cody Rhodes rushes out and distracts Orton! DiBiase takes advantage by rolling up Orton, but the veteran Orton counters the roll-up into one of his own. Rhodes then enters the ring and is caught by Orton as Orton pummels his former teammate! The numbers game then catches up with Orton as DiBiase rejoins the fray! Rhodes & DiBiase have the advantage over their former mentor for a short time, but Orton is able to mount a comeback and send Rhodes & DiBiase packing! What is the next level in this dysfunctional trio turned budding rivalry?

Last week on RAW, Christian qualified for the Money-in-the-Bank Ladder Match at WrestleMania XXVI and, on SmackDown, Dolph Ziggler, Kane, & Shelton Benjamin qualified for the match. On this week’s RAW, Jack Swagger picked up a quick and decisive win over Santino Marella to qualify for the match, as well! Who else will qualify for the Money-in-the-Bank Ladder Match at WrestleMania?

Following the vicious assault by the new WWE Champion Batista on last week’s RAW, John Cena appeared on RAW and stated that what happened to him at WWE Elimination Chamber was, indeed, just “business”! Cena stated that, on last week’s RAW, Batista assaulted him and he does not understand why! Cena continues that he sees the “silver lining” in things and states that he is going to WrestleMania to challenge Batista for the WWE Title. Cena then states that he needs to pay Batista back for the attack last week and calls “The Animal” out! Making sure his security force came out first, WWE Champion Batista came out to the stage and stated that his security is out there to “protect” Cena from him! Cena responds by calling Batista a “pansy” before Batista explains his actions last week by revealing that he “wants” to face John Cena at WrestleMania! Batista continues that they both had similar rises to the top and states that they are the two “biggest stars since the Attitude Era”! Batista then says that, for some reason, the WWE has designated Cena as “the man” and “the face of the WWE”! Batista then says that he should have been made the face of the WWE and said he did what he did last week so that he could beat Cena at WrestleMania and because he can’t “stand” Cena! Cena responds by telling Batista to “focus” because he is out to regain the WWE Championship at WrestleMania before telling Batista that he has worked hard for his spot while Batista has expected everything to be handed to him and says that Batista has always been “selfish”! Batista responds by saying that he does not care about the fans because he is there to “make money and win titles”! Batista then tells Cena to keep “kissing babies” while he prepares to face Cena at WrestleMania! Batista then says that “bad things” happen to Cena whenever they are in the ring together and tells Cena that all Cena does is “bark”! Batista then tells Cena that Cena can not beat him and says that, deep down, Cena knows he can not beat Batista! What will happen when this intense rivalry comes to a head over the WWE Championship at WrestleMania? Who will emerge as the WWE Champion?

In the second Money-in-the-Bank Qualifying Match of the night, MVP was able to hit the Playmaker on Zack Ryder en route to picking up the win and earning his spot in the Money-in-the-Bank Ladder Match at WrestleMania! Six Superstars have qualified and two Superstars remain to qualify. Who will join Christian, Dolph Ziggler, Kane, Shelton Benjamin, Jack Swagger, & MVP in the Money-in-the-Bank Ladder Match?

The Guest Co-Hosts of RAW, Cheech & Chong, then made an in-ring appearance to introduce the participants in the Divas Pillow Fight as new Divas Champion Maryse, Kelly Kelly, Gail Kim, Eve Torres, Jillian, & Alicia Fox all did battle in the Cheech & Chong presented specialty! In the end, it was Eve Torres pinning Alicia Fox to pick up the win! After the match, Hornswoggle came out and celebrated with Cheech & Chong, as well as some “magic” Lucky Charms!

The fourth inductee in the 2010 WWE Hall of Fame was announced on RAW as the legendary “Mad Dog” Vachon will join Wendi Richter, Antonio Inoki, & “The Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase as the legendary rule-breaker will be inducted by the first Intercontinental Champion in history, and fellow Hall of Famer, Pat Patterson!

Then it was time for Bret “Hitman” Hart to deliver his “farewell” to the WWE following his unfortunate parking lot accident two weeks ago! However, as Bret was being introduced, the introduction was interrupted by the arrival of the WWE Chairman Mr. McMahon! The WWE Chairman then took the liberty of introducing the Hall of Famer and states that he has the “upmost respect” for Bret before introducing “The Hitman”! Broken leg and all, Bret Hart made his way to the ring to come face-to-face with Mr. McMahon and deliver his “farewell”! Before the “farewell”, the Chairman asks Bret to “clear his personal name” of any responsibility for Bret’s accident two weeks ago! Bret responds by saying he does not know if McMahon had nothing to do with it or not and says that, ever since he returned, McMahon has treated him like “garbage”! Bret then tells the Chairman that, if McMahon really wants him to give his “farewell”, then he should leave! Vince starts to leave, but turns around and tells Bret that he “lied” as he did not invite Bret to RAW for a “farewell”! The Chairman then brings up Bret’s WrestleMania challenge from a few weeks ago, which Bret responds to by reminding the Chairman that he is “incapacitated” at the moment. Vince then says that even an “old, dried up fossil” can heal in time for WrestleMania and says that Bret came back to the WWE to “fight” him! Bret responds by saying that he has wanted to fight McMahon for thirteen years! Vince then taunts Bret by asking him “why not fight?” and reminds Bret of the tumultuous past between the two of them and tells Bret to do it for his fans! Bret tells McMahon that he can not wrestle at WrestleMania because has a broken leg! Vince then says that he “hates” to hear those words and that his last name used to “mean something” before calling Bret a “coward” and kicking Bret’s crutch out from under him! As Vince exits, Bret gets his crutch and gets back to his feet before telling Vince that he accepts the challenge to face McMahon at WrestleMania! Before leaving, Vince makes the shocking announcement that, on next week’s RAW, he will go one-on-one with John Cena! How will Mr. McMahon fare next week against the former WWE Champion? What kind of condition will Bret Hart be in come WrestleMania?

In addition to WWE Chairman Mr. McMahon going one-on-one with John Cena next week on RAW, next week’s show will also see Randy Orton compete in a 2-on-1 Handicap Match against both Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase!

Then it was time for the main event as D-Generation X would make, what could be, their last stand as a team as Triple H & Shawn Michaels would invoke their rematch clause to challenge United States Champion The Miz & Big Show for the Unified WWE Tag Team Titles. During the match, Shawn Michaels had things well in hand as he was set to deliver Sweet Chin Music to The Miz and regain the Unified WWE Tag Team Titles, but that was all over after The Undertaker appeared on the big screen, which distracted HBK long enough for The Miz to take advantage and roll up HBK for the win to retain the Unified WWE Tag Team Titles! After the match, Michaels refused any support from Triple H before storming out of the ring! Triple H was then attacked by Sheamus as “The Celtic Warrior” viciously assaulted “The Game”, which ended with a vile kick that saw Triple H’s head getting sandwiched between the boot of Sheamus and the announce table, followed by a second kick that knocked Triple H over the announce table! What is the reason for this vicious attack? How will Triple H respond to Sheamus’ actions?

The 2nd edition of WWE NXT came to you from the INTRUST Bank Arena in Wichita, KS. On the second edition of the revolutionary show where eight WWE Pros would mentor eight NXT Rookies, veteran tag team competitor Matt Hardy would introduce his NXT Rookie, Justin Gabriel, and bare-knuckled British brawler William Regal would introduce his Texas-sized NXT Rookie, Skip Sheffield.

WWE NXT
Good Week For: Justin Gabriel (made his debut and pinned William Regal in the tag team main event)
Bad Week For: Daniel Bryan (lost to Wade Barrett and was placed in the Walls of Jericho by Chris Jericho after the match)

And The Rest of the Story…

Further details on the WWE NXT concept were revealed on the show as the NXT Rookies who earn a contract to compete on either RAW & SmackDown will be determined by a vote placed by all eight of the WWE Pros! The catch for the WWE Pros is that they can not vote for, or against, their own Rookie! The bottom line is that the WWE careers of the NXT Rookies lie in the hands of the eight WWE Pros!

The opening match of the night was a rematch from last week’s NXT as David Otunga, the NXT Rookie of R-Truth, took on Darren Young, the NXT Rookie of CM Punk. In the end, it was the collaborative work of The Straightedge Society on the outside of the ring that led to a Darren Young victory as, while Luke Gallows distracted the referee, CM Punk tripped up David Otunga, which allowed Young to hit a modified full-nelson slam en route to avenging his loss to Otunga last week! After the match, R-Truth tried to help his NXT Rookie, David Otunga, to his feet following the loss, but Otunga shoved Truth before exiting the ring!

Backstage, The Miz confronts his NXT Rookie, Daniel Bryan, and tells his Rookie that Bryan is “nothing” and reveals that, despite Bryan’s injuries from his match with Chris Jericho last week, Daniel Bryan will still go one-on-one with Jericho’s NXT Rookie, Wade Barrett!

Backstage, David Otunga is being interviewed by NXT Host Matt Striker, but R-Truth gets in his face following the shove by Otunga moments earlier and the Pro & Rookie ended up brawling in the backstage area until referees were eventually able to break the two apart! What impact will this have on the Pro & Rookie partnership?

As ordered by his WWE Pro, The Miz, Daniel Bryan would go one-on-one with Wade Barrett, as his WWE Pro, World Heavyweight Champion Chris Jericho, served as a guest on commentary. In the end, it was Barrett utilizing a modified military press slam on the injured ribs of Daniel Bryan en route to picking up the win! After the match, Chris Jericho entered the ring and locked in the Walls of Jericho on Bryan once again! How will The Miz react to his NXT Rookie’s loss? How will Daniel Bryan react to the post-match attack by Chris Jericho?

Then it was time for the main event as WWE Pro Matt Hardy would debut his NXT Rookie, Justin Gabriel, as they would team up to face William Regal and his NXT Rookie, Skip Sheffield! Throughout the match, William Regal continued to shout orders at his NXT Rookie, Skip Sheffield, and, in the end, Matt Hardy planted Regal with the Twist of Fate and tagged in Justin Gabriel, who hit an incredible 450 Splash on Regal en route to picking up the win for his team!

Backstage, NXT Host Matt Striker is with the other six NXT Rookies and Carlito, the WWE Pro of Rookie Michael Tarver, comes in and spits apple in the face of NXT Rookie Heath Slater! How will Slater react to Carlito’s actions? How will Slater’s WWE Pro, Christian, react?

The 46th edition of WWE Superstars came to you from the Ford Center in Oklahoma City, OK and from the INTRUST Bank Arena in Wichita, KS. World Heavyweight Champion Chris Jericho would be in action on the show as he would face the newest addition to SmackDown, Goldust, in a non-title match. In a monstrous match, “The Big Red Machine” Kane would go one-on-one with Mike Knox. The electrifying Kofi Kingston would be in action as Kofi takes on Chavo Guerrero.

WWE Superstars
Good Week For: Chris Jericho (forced Goldust to submit to the Walls of Jericho in the main event)
Bad Week For: Goldust (came within seconds of defeating the World Heavyweight Champion)

And The Rest of the Story…

The show kicks off with the opening match of the night as the exciting West Ghana native, Kofi Kingston, went one-on-one with Chavo Guerrero. In the end, it was Kofi Kingston hitting Trouble In Paradise that enabled him to put Chavo down for the three count and to score the win!

Another high-flyer was in action on WWE Superstars as Evan Bourne went one-on-one with “The British Brawler” William Regal. Bourne was able to overcome the veteran Regal and hit Air Bourne en route to picking up the victory!

WWE Superstars also featured a monster battle as “The Big Red Machine” Kane went one-on-one with “The Bearded Menace” Mike Knox. With just twenty-four days to go until he competes in the Money-in-the-Bank Ladder Match at WrestleMania, Kane sent a strong message to his seven opponents in the match as “The Big Red Machine” planted Mike Knox with a chokeslam en route to picking up the impressive win! How will Kane fare in the Money-in-the-Bank Ladder Match? Will “The Big Red Machine” become the largest “Mr. Money-in-the-Bank” in history?

Then it was time for the main event as the World Heavyweight Champion, Chris Jericho, would go one-on-one with the newest addition to the SmackDown roster, Goldust in a non-title match. At the end of a hard-fought match, it was Chris Jericho locking in the Walls of Jericho on Goldust; leaving Goldust no choice but to tap out to the World Heavyweight Champion! Jericho was able to defeat Goldust on WWE Superstars, but will Jericho’s WrestleMania opponent, Edge, be able to overcome one-half of the Unified WWE Tag Team Champions in “The World’s Largest Athlete” Big Show on SmackDown?

The 550th edition of WWE Friday Night SmackDown came to you from the INTRUST Bank Arena in Wichita, KS. Just twenty-three days before WrestleMania, the #1 Contender for the World Heavyweight Title at WrestleMania, Edge, would go one-on-one with one-half of the Unified WWE Tag Team Champions as “The Rated-R Superstar” must go up against “The World’s Largest Athlete” Big Show. Also on SmackDown, another Qualifying Match would take place to determine the seventh competitor in the Money-in-the-Bank Ladder Match at WrestleMania as the SmackDown Superstar would join Christian, Dolph Ziggler, Kane, & Shelton Benjamin in the match.

Friday Night SmackDown
Good Week For: Edge (defeated Big Show and, once again, hit Chris Jericho with the Spear)
Bad Week For: Chris Jericho (was once again hit with the Spear by Edge)

And The Rest of the Story…

Twenty-three days before he challenges Chris Jericho for the World Heavyweight Championship and on the same night he would face one-half of the Unified WWE Tag Team Champions, Big Show, the winner of the 2010 Royal Rumble, Edge, opens the show! Edge states that he is “concerned” about his opponent at WrestleMania, Chris Jericho, and he is “concerned” about Jericho’s comments over recent weeks, because the same thing happens every week that Jericho comments about beating “The Rated-R Superstar” and that is Jericho getting laid out with a spear! His opponent for later in the night, Big Show, interrupts Edge and Edge calls the interruption a “depressing surprise”, reminding Big Show of his Spear to Show’s tag team partner, The Miz, last week and vows to do the same to Big Show! “The World’s Largest Athlete” reveals that he is also there to learn his and Miz’s opponents for the Unified WWE Tag Team Titles at WrestleMania and says that Edge got “lucky” in beating The Miz last week! Big Show then states that he “eats pieces of crap like Edge for breakfast”, which Edge responds by saying that Show eating “pieces of crap for breakfast” explains Big Show’s breath! Edge then vows to spear Big Show in their match before faking Big Show out with his stance that typically comes before the Spear! Show responds by coming after Edge, but the quicker Edge sends Show careening over the top rope by pulling the top rope down! Can Edge use his quickness and a Spear to cut “The World’s Largest Athlete” down to size or will Big Show leave Edge left knocked out cold with a Knockout Punch?

Backstage, SmackDown General Manager Theodore Long is confronted by Intercontinental Champion Drew McIntyre, who tells the GM that a lot of people are under the “impression” that he suffered his first loss, to Kane, last week and asked the GM to “set the record straight” to the audience! Long then announces that, by the order of WWE Chairman Mr. McMahon, McIntyre’s loss to Kane last week has been “expunged” from the record books and McIntyre is still “undefeated”! Long then informs McIntyre that he will get a second opportunity to enter the Money-in-the-Bank Ladder Match at WrestleMania as he faces Matt Hardy with the winner being added to the match! McIntyre then extends his hand and thanks the GM, but Long walks away from the Intercontinental Champion!

After having his first loss in the WWE “expunged” from the record books by WWE Chairman Mr. McMahon, the newly “undefeated” Intercontinental Champion Drew McIntyre would face Matt Hardy, with his NXT Rookie Justin Gabriel accompanying him to the ring, in his second opportunity to qualify for the Money-in-the-Bank Ladder Match at WrestleMania! After countering the Future Shock DDT, Matt Hardy was able to reverse a roll-up attempt into a roll-up his own en route to defeating Drew McIntyre; once again ending the Intercontinental Champion’s undefeated streak and qualifying for the Money-in-the-Bank Ladder Match at WrestleMania! After the match, McIntyre takes his aggressions out on the announce table before ordering commentator Matt Striker to tell the fans that he “swears” that he will be at WrestleMania! How does Drew McIntyre plan to take part in WrestleMania after twice failing to qualify for the Money-in-the-Bank Ladder Match?

Speaking of the Money-in-the-Bank Ladder Match at WrestleMania, two of the participants in the match went one-on-one on SmackDown as “The Gold Standard” Shelton Benjamin faced “The Platinum Superstar” Dolph Ziggler. After hitting Pay Dirt, Shelton Benjamin was the one standing tall by defeating Dolph Ziggler! Will Benjamin be standing even taller come WrestleMania when he takes part in the Money-in-the-Bank Ladder Match?

In his first appearance since becoming the final ECW Champion on the last episode of ECW, Ezekiel Jackson returned to the SmackDown brand as he went one-on-one with Jimmy Wang Yang! Though try as he might, Jimmy Wang Yang was no match for “Big Zeke” as Ezekiel Jackson’s pure domination of the WWE continued with an impressive win over Yang!

After costing CM Punk the opportunity to compete in the Money-in-the-Bank Ladder Match last week, Rey Mysterio would go one-on-one with “The Straightedge Disciple” of CM Punk’s Straightedge Society, Luke Gallows! Before the match, CM Punk states that children support Rey Mysterio to “fill the void” left by their parents and that Rey is a “neglectful parent”! Punk then calls Rey a “coward” and claims that Rey refuses to face him one-on-one! Punk then encourages Luke Gallows to make Rey “answer” for Rey’s actions and do it for The Straightedge Society!

After getting readied by CM Punk, “The Straightedge Disciple” Luke Gallows would look to extract revenge for his leader as he went one-on-one with Rey Mysterio. It looked as though Rey’s fate was sealed after both CM Punk and Serena interfered in the contest, but Rey was able to counter an attempt at the Gallows’ Pole by Luke Gallows to pin Gallows and pick up the win! Immediately after the match, CM Punk hoisted Rey up for the GTS, but Rey gets out of the GTS and delivers a swift kick to the leg of Punk before exiting the ring! How will CM Punk & The Straightedge Society react to Rey Mysterio’s actions?

Next up was a Triple Threat Tag Match as R-Truth & John Morrison, Cryme Tyme, & The Hart Dynasty would all compete with the winning team earning the opportunity to challenge The Miz & Big Show for the Unified WWE Tag Team Titles at WrestleMania! After hitting the Lie Detector, R-Truth pinned Tyson Kidd to punch his and John Morrison’s tickets to WrestleMania as “Truth & Wisdom” will challenge The Miz & Big Show for the Unified WWE Tag Team Titles at the grand event! Can Truth & Wisdom dethrone ShoMiz by winning the Unified WWE Tag Team Titles or will The Miz & Big Show reign supreme in their most high-profile title defense in the team’s history?

Backstage, “The Glamazon” Beth Phoenix confronts SmackDown Consultant Vickie Guerrero about a shot at the Women’s Title and, after being told it would “never” happen, Phoenix threatens Vickie by warning Vickie not to “cross” her! Vickie responds by telling Phoenix not to “cross” her and reminds Phoenix of what she did to Mickie James last week! Vickie then vows that Phoenix will only get a shot at the Women’s Title if she says so!

Then it was time for the main event as the #1 Contender for the World Heavyweight Title at WrestleMania, Edge, would go one-on-one with one-half of the Unified WWE Tag Team Champions, Big Show. In the end, Edge was able to hit a massive spear on Big Show en route to picking up the win in the main event! After the match, Chris Jericho tried to take Edge out with a shot with the World Heavyweight Title belt, but Edge was able to duck the shot and, once again, hit the Spear on the World Heavyweight Champion! With just over three weeks to go until WrestleMania, does Edge have the number of Chris Jericho heading into their World Heavyweight Title match at the biggest event of the year?
