"TORONTO, Ont. – Toronto has officially entered its bid to bring WrestleMania back to the city.
The World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) event has already happened twice in Toronto – in 1990 and 2002.
The most likely venue would be the Rogers Centre because that is where the past two WrestleManias were held, when it was called the SkyDome.
Duncan Ross, the executive director of Toronto Tourism, said "we’re a big event city and naturally it makes sense that we take a look at the WrestleMania oppourtunities."
