Author Irv Muchnick, who is no stranger to the wrestling business, reports that his WWE sources say that WWE’s Executive Vice President and General Counsel Jared Bartie was suspended from the company for sexual harassment. Apparently an incident took place during WrestleMania 26 weekend in March that led to Bartie’s suspension. No word on when his suspension began, ended or how long it was for.
Irv’s source says that Bartie had been drinking during the festivities in Phoenix and inappropriately hit on a woman who was an executive in WWE’s sales department. The same woman who accused Bartie of sexual harassment was fired from WWE a few weeks later after being seen performing a sex act on another WWE employee on company property during business hours.
WWE representatives did not respond to Irv’s email request for a comment on the story.
