WWE Spoilers: Season Two of WWE NXT To Kick Off This Coming Tuesday Night!

The first season of WWE NXT wrapped up this Tuesday and, as announced on the NXT Season Finale, the second season of NXT will start this coming Tuesday. The new set of WWE Pros & NXT Rookies have been announced and a modification to how the Rookies are eliminated and the winner is determined has been revealed as the votes of the WWE Pros will now only count as 50% of the votes and the WWE fans will make up the other half of the votes. Here are the Pro/Rookie pairings for season two of WWE NXT:

  • Eli Cottonwood (real name- Kipp Christianson) is a 7’1" competitor from River Falls, WI and will be mentored by RAW Superstar John Morrison.
  • Michael McGillicutty (real name- Joe Hennig) is a third-generation competitor; the son of WWE Hall of Famer Curt "Mr. Perfect" Hennig and grandson of Larry "The Axe" Hennig and he will be mentored by reigning Intercontinental Champion Kofi Kingston from SmackDown.
  • Alex Riley (real name- Kevin Kiley) is a 6’4", 250 lbs. competitor from Washington, D.C. and will be mentored by RAW Superstar The Miz (continuing his role as a WWE Pro from season one).
  • Kaval (real name- Brandon Silvestry) is better known as "Low Ki", a big name in several organizations and, like Daniel Bryan from season one, he is very well known on the independent circuit and he will be mentored by the self-proclaimed "co-Women’s Champions" Layla & Michelle McCool (who will be the first pair of WWE Pros, as well as the first Divas to be a Pro in NXT).
  • Jason "Lucky" Cannon earned the nickname "Lucky" by surviving a number of close calls in his life and he will be mentored by RAW Superstar Mark Henry.
  • Husky Harris (real name- Windham Rotunda) is a third-generation competitor; the son of Mike "I.R.S." Rotunda and the grandson of Blackjack Mulligan and he will be mentored by second-generation SmackDown Superstar Cody Rhodes.
  • Percy Watson is a charismatic and flamboyant competitor from South Beach, FL and he will be mentored by SmackDown Superstar MVP.
  • Titus O’Neil (real name- Thaddeus Bullard) is a former college football player, most notable playing for the University of Florida Gators, and he will be mentored by RAW Superstar Zack Ryder.
