Earlier this year Vince McMahon announced during one of the company’s quarter earnings result conference call that they will be dropping the Survivor Series pay-per-view concept as it has "run its course" and would be replaced with a new show. It looks now though that the Chairman and CEO did a 180 on that statement as the November pay-per-view is being marketed as the Survivor Series and tickets go on sale this Friday. The show will take place at the American Airlines Arena in Miami, FL.
