At the last minute, WWE has announced (as well as the previews for RAW on DirecTV and Dish Network) that actors Will Ferrell & Mark Wahlberg will be appearing on tonight’s RAW to promote their new film "The Other Guys", which comes out this Friday, August 6. It is interesting to note that former WWE Superstar Dwayne Johnson (The Rock) also stars in the film.
Since this week’s RAW was taped last week due to WWE doing on overseas tour, it is expected that Will Ferrell & Mark Wahlberg’s appearance will be in a taped promo that will be added to the show as there are no reports of the actors being at the RAW tapings last week.
