Final Build To WWE Night of Champions

Just six nights before WWE Night of Champions, the Season Premiere of WWE Monday Night RAW came to you, live, from the U.S. Bank Arena in Cincinnati, OH. On the unpredictable Season Premiere, RAW would see the return of RAW Roulette as, after three years, the spin of a wheel will determine the fates of the RAW Superstars and Divas in their matches! Six nights before they are two of five challengers for the WWE Title in the Six Pack Challenge at Night of Champions, two former WWE Champions would face off as John Cena would go one-on-one with familiar adversary, “The Viper” Randy Orton! The Season Premiere of RAW would also feature a special Guest Star as Chad Ochocinco, the star of his own reality series on VH1, “Ochocinco: The Ultimate Catch” and the wide receiver for the Cincinnati Bengals, would come to his team’s hometown to appear on RAW!

Season Premiere of Monday Night RAW (September 13, 2010)
Good Week For: Randy Orton (would put four of the six participants in the Six Pack Elimination Challenge through tables during the main event)
Bad Week For: Wade Barrett & The Nexus (had their plan to attack John Cena & Randy Orton foiled and many of its members put through tables)

Before the show officially gets underway, the RAW Roulette wheel is shown backstage with John Cena & Randy Orton standing in front of it as the wheel full of various match types would determine what type of match Cena and Orton would have in the main event and, after Cena brought in his “Lady Luck”, Eve Torres, to spin the wheel, the wheel lands on a Tables Match; the same type of match that Cena lost back in December when Sheamus first won the WWE Title! Who will win in a clash between former WWE Champions in a Tables Match?

The show then officially kicks off with the Guest Star of RAW as the star of the reality series, “Ochocinco: The Ultimate Catch” and the starting wide receiver for the Cincinnati Bengals, Chad Ochocinco makes his appearance in the hometown of the Bengals! Ochocinco welcomes everyone to the Season Premiere of RAW and states that he is the most “handsome” Guest Star that RAW has ever had and states that RAW is going to be “exciting” before Ochocinco is interrupted by “Mr. Money-in-the-Bank” & United States Champion The Miz! The fellow Ohioan states that the Bengals are Ochocinco’s team and RAW is The Miz’s show! The Miz then compares the accomplishments of the two of them before saying that himself and Ochocinco are nothing alike because he is a “champion” and stating that the Bengals will “never” be champions! Ochocinco responds by vowing that the Bengals will win the Super Bowl! The Miz then states that the only thing that he has seen Ochocinco and teammate Terrell Owens do is leave before stating that both Ochocinco and the Bengals are “overrated”! The anonymous General Manager of RAW then chimes with an email that brings a halt to the argument as the GM reveals that it is time to reveal what kind of non-title match The Miz will compete in on RAW and the wheel reveals that The Miz would compete in a Submission Match! The anonymous GM’s email then reads that, while the RAW Roulette wheel has determined the type of match The Miz will compete in, the GM is letting Chad Ochocinco select The Miz’s opponent in the Submission Match and Ochocinco wastes no time in selecting Miz’s Night of Champions opponent, Daniel Bryan!

After the RAW Roulette wheel selected a Submission Match and Guest Star Chad Ochocinco selected his opponent, “Mr. Money-in-the-Bank” & United States Champion The Miz, with his “apprentice” Alex Riley in his corner, would go one-on-one with his Night of Champions opponent, Daniel Bryan, in a non-title Submission Match! In the middle of the match, The Miz narrowly escapes being locked in the LeBell Lock by Daniel Bryan and rolls to the outside before grabbing a microphone and claiming he has a “hernia”! The Miz then orders his “apprentice”, Alex Riley, to substitute for him in the match, but Daniel Bryan makes quick work of the former Rookie, forcing Riley to tap out to the LeBell Lock! After the match, The Miz rushes in the ring and attacks Daniel Bryan and delivers a vile kick to the head of Bryan before rubbing Bryan’s face in the United States Title belt! The Miz would then set up for the Skull Crushing Finale on the United States Title belt, but Daniel Bryan would counter and lock in the LeBell Lock on The Miz, forcing Miz to tap out once again! Daniel Bryan has proven the last couple of weeks that he can make The Miz tap out, but can Bryan force The Miz to tap out this Sunday at Night of Champions to win the United States Title?

Six nights before he is one of five challengers for the WWE Title at Night of Champions, “The Rated R Superstar” Edge would go one-on-one with the high-flying Evan Bourne in, as determined by the RAW Roulette wheel, a Body Slam Challenge! Despite putting up a good fight, Evan Bourne would end up being slammed by Edge to earn Edge the win! After the match, Edge would lay Evan Bourne out with the Spear, prompting the anonymous General Manager of RAW to chime in with an email that reveals that Edge will compete in another Body Slam Challenge, but this time it would be against “The World’s Strongest Man” Mark Henry! As expected, Mark Henry was able to easily slam Edge to pick up the win!

As determined by the RAW Roulette wheel, there would be the first ever Song & Dance Match as R-Truth & Eve Torres would face “The Fortunate Son” Ted DiBiase & Maryse in the unique match where one teammate would sing and the other would dance with the fans determining the winners! First up was R-Truth & Eve Torres and Eve Torres would do the dancing while R-Truth would rap his new song, “Right Time” and the crowd clearly preferred R-Truth & Eve Torres over Ted DiBiase & Maryse as DiBiase did his best to sing the song “My Way”! After losing the competition, Ted DiBiase & Maryse would attack R-Truth & Eve Torres, but Truth & Eve would fight back and send DiBiase & Maryse packing!

Backstage, William Regal discovers that he will be in a Trading Places Match, a match where a Superstar must dress like their opponent, against none other than “The Bizarre One” Goldust! WWE Champion Sheamus then confronts Guest Star Chad Ochocinco in front of the wheel as Ochocinco informs Sheamus that the anonymous General Manager has put Sheamus in a non-title match against John Morrison and, if Morrison beats Sheamus, then Morrison would take the spot formerly held by Chris Jericho in the Six Pack Challenge for the WWE Title at Night of Champions and, with a spin of the RAW Roulette wheel, it would be determined that the match would be Falls Count Anywhere! Sheamus would then insult Chad Ochocinco and the Cincinnati Bengals before exiting! Can Sheamus defeat John Morrison in a Falls Count Anywhere Match or will John Morrison defeat Sheamus and earn a spot in the Six Pack Challenge for the WWE Title?

Then it was time for WWE Champion Sheamus to go one-on-one with “The Monday Night Delight” John Morrison in a non-title Falls Count Anywhere Match where, if John Morrison wins, he will take the spot formerly held by Chris Jericho in the Six Pack Challenge for the WWE Title at Night of Champions! In an incredible Falls Count Anywhere Match, John Morrison looked to be closing in on a major win after diving off of the top of the lower big screen on the RAW set onto Sheamus only to get a near fall, but after getting the near fall, Chris Jericho would come out and blast Morrison on the back with a steel chair, allowing Sheamus to pick up the win and keep Morrison out of the Six Pack Challenge for the WWE Title at Night of Champions! Will there be a sixth Superstar added to the Six Pack Challenge or will there be a Five Pack Challenge for the WWE Title this Sunday at Night of Champions?

After costing John Morrison his match that would earn Morrison his former spot in the Six Pack Challenge for the WWE Title, Chris Jericho would take a seat in the middle of the ring and would state that he is not going anywhere until he gets what he wants and he will sit there all night if he has to! Jericho then explains that what he wants is to be reinserted into the Six Pack Challenge for the WWE Title at Night of Champions and if the anonymous RAW General Manager does not chime in with an email announcing just that, then he will quit and go home, but not before exposing the identity of the anonymous General Manager! The anonymous GM then chimes with an email that reads that he/she does not like “ultimatums” and there is “no chance” that he will respond to the ultimatum, “no chance in hell”! Chris Jericho then scoffs at the idea of the anonymous GM being WWE Chairman Mr. McMahon before the anonymous GM chimes in with another email that announces that the Six Pack Challenge will now be a Six Pack Elimination Challenge and that Chris Jericho is back in the match! Chris Jericho then interrupts the reading of the GM’s email to proclaim that he will become the WWE Champion this Sunday at Night of Champions! The anonymous GM would then chime in to continue the reading of the email as it was announced that Chris Jericho would be placed back in the Six Pack Elimination Challenge for the WWE Title, but only if he can defeat the Unified WWE Tag Team Champions, The Hart Dynasty in a 2-on-1 Handicap Steel Cage Match that will take place next!

Per the orders of the anonymous General Manager of RAW, Chris Jericho would face WWE Tag Team Champions The Hart Dynasty in a 2-on-1 Handicap Steel Cage Match where, if Chris Jericho manages to win, he will be reinserted into the Six Pack Elimination Challenge for the WWE Title at Night of Champions! After David Hart Smith successfully escaped the cage, it came down to Chris Jericho and Tyson Kidd in the steel cage and, despite putting up a good fight, Tyson Kidd would ultimately tap out to the Walls of Jericho, placing Jericho back into the Six Pack Elimination Challenge Match for the WWE Title at Night of Champions! After overcoming the WWE Tag Team Champions to earn his spot back, can Chris Jericho win the WWE Title in the Six Pack Elimination Challenge this Sunday night?

Then it was time for the unique Trading Places Match as “The Bizarre One” Goldust, dressed as William Regal, would go one-on-one with the 2008 King of the Ring William Regal, dressed as Goldust! The uniquely entertaining match was a short one, however, as Goldust would pull a trick out of William Regal’s playbook by, unbeknownst to the referee, putting on the brass knuckles and laying Regal out with a loaded hand en route to picking up the win!

Then it was time for the main event as, six nights before they are two of five challengers for the WWE Title at the Six Pack Elimination Match at Night of Champions, two former WWE Champions would face off as John Cena would go one-on-one with familiar adversary, “The Viper” Randy Orton in a Tables Match! In the middle of the match, fellow challenger Wade Barrett & The Nexus would rush the ring and attack John Cena & Randy Orton! Orton would be able to fire back and hit the RKO on Nexus member Michael Tarver! Cena would also fire back, hitting the Attitude Adjustment on David Otunga before hurling Heath Slater over the top rope and all the way through the a table to the floor on the outside! However, Wade Barrett would then catch Cena and lay Cena out with the Barrett Wasteland! Wade Barrett would then set up a table with the intent of having Justin Gabriel put John Cena through it with the 450 Splash, but Randy Orton would shove Gabriel off of the top rope and through a table on the outside! Wade Barrett would then hit Randy Orton with a big boot, but when Barrett was set to put Orton through a table, Orton would fight back and ultimately put Wade Barrett through a table on the outside! With the Tables Match still going, John Cena and Randy Orton would continue the match, but the match would then be interrupted by Night of Champions challengers Edge & Chris Jericho, who attack Randy Orton, but Orton would be able to sidestep a Spear attempt by Edge, resulting in Edge spearing Jericho through a table set up in the corner, taking himself out in the process! Finally, WWE Champion Sheamus would come out and lay Orton out, but John Cena would attack the WWE Champion and ultimately lay Sheamus out with the Attitude Adjustment on the arena floor! John Cena would then re-enter the ring and was prepared to deliver the Attitude Adjustment to Randy Orton through a table, but Orton would counter in the middle of the move being delivered and hit the RKO to send John Cena through a table and, thus, winning the match! Randy Orton seems unstoppable, but can “The Viper” become WWE Champion this Sunday in the Six Pack Elimination Challenge for the WWE Title?

The second week of NXT Season Three came to you from the Joe Louis Arena in Detroit, MI. One week after the six NXT Rookie Divas made their introductions to the WWE fans and one week after Rookie Diva Naomi took a huge step in earning immunity in the first NXT elimination by winning the first two NXT challenges, Naomi, Jamie, A.J., Maxine, Aksana, & Kaitlyn would compete in two more NXT challenges as, whoever wins the most NXT challenges, will earn immunity in the first NXT elimination in three weeks time!

WWE NXT (September 14, 2010)
Good Week For: Jamie & Kaitlyn (each won an NXT challenge)
Bad Week For: Michael Cole (repeatedly bad-mouthed NXT before eventually walking off of NXT)

Detailed Results Follow…

One week after her NXT Rookie Diva, Kaitlyn, inadvertently collided with her, the show kicks off with SmackDown Consultant & WWE Pro Vickie Guerrero, who introduces her guest as her boyfriend, Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler, as Dolph would team with Vickie’s Rookie Diva, Kaitlyn, to face the two competitors responsible for Vickie’s embarrassment last week in WWE Primo and his NXT Rookie Diva, A.J. in a Mixed Tag Match! In the end, it was Dolph Ziggler hitting the Zig Zag on Primo en route to picking up the win! After the match, a post-match celebration and embrace between Dolph Ziggler and Kaitlyn seemed to visibly upset Dolph’s girlfriend, Vickie Guerrero, who leaves the ringside area and heads backstage without her boyfriend! How will Vickie Guerrero respond to Dolph Ziggler and Kaitlyn’s post-match celebration?

Then it was time for another NXT challenge as, the Rookie Diva who wins the most challenges overall, will earn immunity in the first NXT elimination in three weeks and this time, the six Rookie Divas would compete in the first ever NXT Joke-Off where the six Rookie Divas would each tell a joke and the WWE fans will determine the winner! First up was A.J., who opts for a blonde joke, followed by Aksana, who tells a joke in Lithuanian and in English! Then, Jamie took the microphone and delivers a knock knock joke that ends with Jamie eluding to no one knowing who the other Rookie Divas are after the end of the competition! Naomi would then follow that up with the “dog with no legs” joke before it is Maxine’s turn as Maxine says she is in the ring with five “jokes” before getting in A.J.’s face and calling her a “girl scout”! This sparks a brawl that involves all six Rookie Divas, but after NXT Host Matt Striker breaks up the fight, it is Kaitlyn’s turn as Kaitlyn proceeds to slap A.J. across the face, prompting another brawl that is again broken up by Matt Striker! After the fighting stopped, the WWE fans roared their approval for the Rookie Diva with the best joke as Jamie wins the Joke-Off competition! After the competition, NXT commentator Michael Cole stands up and repeatedly sounds a gong before saying that all the Rookie Divas should be “gonged”, NXT Host Matt Striker should be “gonged”, and the WWE fans who bought tickets to watch NXT should be “gonged” and the entire NXT show should be “gonged” because himself and fellow commentator Josh Mathews are the only thing to like about NXT! What will be the response to Michael Cole’s statements regarding NXT?

In the first one-on-one match between Rookie Divas in NXT Season Three, former ring announcer Jamie would go one-on-one with the Lithuanian Rookie Diva, Aksana! In the end, it was Jamie coming out of nowhere with a roll-up on Aksana to pick up the win! After winning the Joke-Off and winning her debut match, is Jamie set to match the two challenge wins of Naomi?

Backstage, Vickie Guerrero confronts her boyfriend, Dolph Ziggler, and questions Dolph about the post-match celebration between Dolph and Vickie’s Rookie Diva, Kaitlyn, and Dolph denies anything between the two of them and Vickie threatens that, if Dolph does something like that again, then Dolph will lose Vickie!

Then it was time for the second NXT challenge of the night as the six Rookie Divas would compete in the Obstacle Course Challenge where the Rookie Diva with the shortest time going through the course would be the winner! Kaitlyn was set to be the first to compete, but she is interrupted by her WWE Pro Vickie Guerrero, who tells her Rookie Diva that, for embarrassing her last week and “using” her boyfriend, Dolph Ziggler, to earn a win earlier in the night, she would run the obstacle course to shoe Kaitlyn how to do it! Vickie would run the obstacle course, but before making it to the last obstacle, Vickie would trip and fall, which would prompt the WWE Pro to abandon the competition and head backstage, embarrassed once again! How will Vickie Guerrero respond to being embarrassed yet again?

After witnessing her WWE Pro run and abandon the obstacle course, Rookie Diva Kaitlyn would set the time to beat in the Obstacle Course Challenge by scoring a time of 36.5! Next up was Aksana, who narrowly missed beating Kaitlyn’s time by scoring a time of 37.2 and then A.J. was up, scoring a time of 46.0! With Kaitlyn’s time to beat still intact, Maxine would be the next Rookie Diva to take on the obstacle course and would end up scoring a time of 39.1, narrowly missing beating the time! Next up was the winner of the first challenge of the night as Jamie took to the course and ended up coming the closest to beating the time with a finish time of 36.8, a mere three milliseconds away from winning! Last up was the winner of two NXT challenges as Naomi took to the course, but after messing up on a couple of the obstacles, Naomi would score a time of 57.4, meaning that Kaitlyn is the winner of the Obstacle Course Challenge! Immediately after winning, the gong repeatedly sounds again as NXT commentator Michael Cole once again stands up and says that NXT insults his “journalistic integrity” because he used to be a “war correspondent! Cole would then proclaim that he is “done” with NXT before storming off from his announce position as the WWE fans, the WWE Pros, and the Rookie Divas serenade Michael Cole with the singing of “nah, nah, nah, nah, hey, hey, hey, goodbye”! After Jamie won one challenge and Kaitlyn won the other, Naomi is still in the lead with two challenge wins! Will Naomi earn immunity in the first NXT elimination or will another Rookie Diva earn that right?

The 74th edition of WWE Superstars came to you from the U.S. Bank Arena in Cincinnati, OH and from the Joe Louis Arena in Detroit, MI. “The Ballin’ Superstar” MVP would be in action as MVP would go one-on-one with Luke Gallows! Also, as Tamina’s infatuation with Santino Marella continues, Tamina would be in the corner of Jey & Jimmy Uso as they face the undefeated team of Santino Marella & Vladimir Kozlov!

WWE Superstars (September 16, 2010)
Good Week For: MVP (defeated Luke Gallows in the main event)
Bad Week For: Luke Gallows (lost to MVP in the main event)

Detailed Results Follow…

The show kicks off with tag team action as the undefeated team of Santino Marella & Vladimir Kozlov would face Jey & Jimmy Uso with Tamina in their corner! In the end, it was Vladimir Kozlov hitting the Iron Curtain on Jey Uso en route to picking up the win for himself and Santino Marella! After the match, Tamina enters the ring and has Santino show her how to do “The Cobra” and after the lesson, Santino would lick the fingers of the Diva, much to the confusion of Tamina!

One of the WWE Pros on NXT Season Three was in action on Superstars as WWE Pro Primo, with his NXT Rookie Diva, A.J., in his corner, would have the unenviable task of going one-on-one with The Great Khali! Despite trying his best to combat the giant, Primo would get laid out by the Punjabi Plunge en route to The Great Khali picking up the win!

Then it was time for the main event as “The Ballin’ Superstar” MVP would go one-on-one with “The Big LG” Luke Gallows! In the end, it was MVP hitting the Playmaker on Luke Gallows en route to picking up the win! After the match, MVP helped Luke Gallows to his feet only for Gallows to go for a cheap shot, but MVP dodged the shot and hit the Play of the Day on Gallows and followed it up with the Ballin’ Elbow!

Just two nights before Night of Champions, the 578th edition of WWE Friday Night SmackDown came to you from the Joe Louis Arena in Detroit, MI. Two nights before their epic match for the World Heavyweight Championship at Night of Champions, World Heavyweight Champion Kane would appear on SmackDown to answer the challenge of his brother, The Undertaker, who last week challenged Kane to make their World Heavyweight Title match at Night of Champions a No Holds Barred Match! Also, two nights before they defend the WWE Tag Team Titles against still unknown opponents at Night of Champions, WWE Tag Team Champions The Hart Dynasty would face “Dashing” Cody Rhodes & “The Sinister Scotsman” Drew McIntyre in a non-title match!

Friday Night SmackDown (September 17, 2010)
Good Week For: Kane (once again got the better of his brother, The Undertaker)
Bad Week For: The Undertaker (is seemingly at the mercy of his younger brother, Kane)

Before going one-on-one with CM Punk later in the night, the show kicks off with “Captain Charisma” Christian as Christian presents The Peep Show, but before Christian can even introduce his guest, Christian is interrupted by Ricardo Rodriguez, Alberto Del Rio’s own personal ring announcer, as Rodriguez introduces the self-proclaimed “honest man” as Alberto Del Rio comes out! Christian welcomes Del Rio to The Peep Show and states that Del Rio has made quite the “impression” since coming to SmackDown with his own ring announcer, his classic cars, and his fancy attire! Christian then states that he may be looking “two different guys” as there is the guy who stands before him and then there’s the guy who everyone saw in the introduction videos before he made his debut! Christian then asks if it is the guy who is “great” or the guy who is like a “cheap fajita” and is “all sizzle, no steak”! Alberto Del Rio responds by saying that all that Christian or anyone else needs to know about him is what he did to Rey Mysterio! Christian then states that he has been around the WWE for a long time as he has seen them all; he has seen “The Next Big Thing”, he has seen a group of “male cheerleaders”, and he has even seen a guy who eats worms and calls himself “the boogeyman”! Christian then states that he has “outlasted” them all before asking Alberto Del Rio if he is a “flash in the pan” like the others or is he “as advertised”! Alberto Del Rio responds by saying Christian has done a lot, but he is the man who is going to “change” the WWE “forever” before proclaiming that he is going to bring “pride” to his people! Christian then states that his “pride” is telling him to test to see if Del Rio has the “goods” before challenging Alberto Del Rio to a one-on-one match at Night of Champions! Alberto Del Rio responds by refusing the challenge, saying that he does not want Christian to become a “peasant” by losing to him and says he will “think” about accepting the match before putting his hands on Christian and calling him “baby”! Christian responds by delivering a hard slap t the face of Del Rio, angering Del Rio! However, Del Rio would leave the ring and, from the stage, would smile and once again say “no” to Christian’s challenge! What will Christian have to do to get Alberto Del Rio to accept his challenge?

Two nights before they defend their WWE Tag Team Titles against still unknown opponents at Night of Champions, WWE Tag Team Champions The Hart Dynasty would face “Dashing” Cody Rhodes & “The Sinister Scotsman” Drew McIntyre in a non-title match! In the end, it looked like The Hart Dynasty would win after setting up for the Hart Attack, but Drew McIntyre would pull Tyson Kidd out of the ring, which would allow “Dashing” Cody Rhodes to hit the Cross Rhodes on David Hart Smith en route to picking up the non-title win! After pinning the champions, will “Dashing” Cody Rhodes & Drew McIntyre be the ones to challenge The Hart Dynasty for the WWE Tag Team Titles at Night of Champions?

Two nights before he challenges Dolph Ziggler for the Intercontinental Title at Night of Champions with the stipulation that, if Dolph is disqualified or counted out, he will lose the title, Kofi Kingston would make an appearance on SmackDown as Kofi states that the “only reason” that Dolph Ziggler is the Intercontinental Champion is because of Vickie Guerrero! Kofi continues that Dolph Ziggler “hides” behind Vickie and calls Vickie a “loud mouth, nasty, beast of a woman” and states that Vickie has ensured that her “flavor of the month” keeps the title by “any means necessary”! Kofi then reminds everyone that, if Dolph Ziggler gets disqualified or counted out, he will win the Intercontinental Title before vowing that, this Sunday at Night of Champions, he will “rid the WWE of the most repulsive couple in SmackDown history” because, as soon as the Intercontinental Title is “removed” from Dolph Ziggler, then Vickie will “remove” herself from Dolph Ziggler before proclaiming that, at Night of Champions, there will be “trouble in paradise”!

After his guarantee to win the Intercontinental Title and put an end to the relationship between Dolph Ziggler & Vickie Guerrero at Night of Champions, Kofi Kingston would go one-on-one with “The All-American American” Jack Swagger! At the end of an incredibly hard-fought match, it was Kofi Kingston finally being able to hit Trouble in Paradise on Jack Swagger en route to picking up the win! Can Kofi Kingston make his guarantee come true this Sunday at Night of Champions by winning the Intercontinental Title and bringing an end to the relationship between Dolph Ziggler & Vickie Guerrero?

Two nights before one of them face Divas Champion Melina in the Women’s & Divas Title Unification Lumberjack Match, the self-proclaimed “co-Women’s Champions” Layla & Michelle McCool, with SmackDown’s newest Superstar, Kaval, in their corner, would face two of the Lumberjacks in the match in Kelly Kelly & Rosa Mendes, with Kelly Kelly’s NXT Rookie Diva, Naomi, in her corner! In the end, it was Layla hitting the Lay Out on Rosa Mendes en route to picking up the win! Can either Layla or Michelle McCool defeat Divas Champion Melina this Sunday night at Night of Champions to become the unified Women’s & Divas Champion?

Backstage, Layla & Michelle McCool are with the winner of NXT Season Two, Kaval, as McCool presents her hat filled with both of their names and whoever’s name is drawn will face Divas Champion Melina in the Women’s & Divas Title Unification Lumberjack Match! After having Kaval draw the name, it was revealed that Michelle McCool will be the one to face Melina in the Unification Match! After McCool exited, Kaval revealed to Layla that all of the names in the hat said Michelle McCool on them! An angry Layla says that she is not “surprised” by McCool putting only her name in the hat, but McCool will be “surprised” when she does not accompany McCool at Night of Champions! Without Layla in her corner, can Michelle McCool prevail this Sunday against Melina in the Title Unification Lumberjack Match?

Two nights before he goes one-on-one with Big Show at Night of Champions, “The Straightedge Savior” CM Punk would go one-on-one with “Captain Charisma” Christian, with Alberto Del Rio serving as a guest on commentary! In the middle of the match, Alberto Del Rio stands up and begins to address Christian, distracting Christian long enough for CM Punk to take advantage by hitting the GTS en route to picking up the win! After the match, Alberto Del Rio grabs a steel chair and unfolds it over Christian before sitting on the chair so that he could keep Christian from attacking him before, once again, telling Christian “no”, he will not face Christian at Night of Champions! This brings out Big Show, who comes to the aid of Christian, but with Big Show distracted by Alberto Del Rio, CM Punk comes in from behind, allowing Del Rio to escape before delivering a few right hands and a kick to Big Show’s head, all to no avail as Big Show would fire back and lay Punk out with a vicious Knockout Punch! Will this be the same result when Big Show & CM Punk go one-on-one this Sunday?

Two nights before he defends the World Heavyweight Title against The Undertaker at Night of Champions, World Heavyweight Champion Kane would appear on SmackDown to answer his brother’s challenge from last week to make their title match a No Holds Barred Match! Kane states that the “final chapter” in his and The Undertaker’s rivalry will end at Night of Champions, but will not end like it has in the past with The Undertaker emerging victorious! Kane then states that he will be the “author of The Undertaker’s demise” and it will end the same way it started, with The Undertaker laid out at his feet before stating that the “dark side” will “betray” The Undertaker, because he now has the “powers” of The Undertaker! Kane then proclaims that his “plot” will be “realized” this Sunday when he makes The Undertaker “nothing more than a distant memory” before shouting that, this time, it will end on his “terms”! Kane then reveals that having the match being No Holds Barred was exactly what he “wanted” and this Sunday, there will be no rules to stop either of them before vowing that, at Night of Champions, he will make The Undertaker “rest in peace”! However, Kane is then interrupted by none other than his brother, The Undertaker, as “The Phenom” makes his way to the ring to come face-to-face with his brother, but as The Undertaker approaches the ring, the lights completely go out and, when they come back on, Kane is standing behind The Undertaker with World Heavyweight Title belt in hand as Kane blasts his brother in the mid-section with the title belt before a brawl between the brothers ensue on the outside of the ring! Kane would ultimately gain control and would throw The Undertaker into the ring and would proceed to hit Undertaker’s signature “Snake Eyes” maneuver before laying his brother out with the chokeslam! Kane would then proceed to plant The Undertaker with Undertaker’s own Tombstone Piledriver just like at SummerSlam before Kane does the signature kneel of his older brother! After everything that has gone down between these brothers and with Kane getting the better of The Undertaker almost every time they come in contact with each other, can The Undertaker find a way to stop his diabolical younger brother this Sunday at Night of Champions when they face off in a No Holds Barred Match for the World Heavyweight Title or will Kane prove that he truly is the “dominant brother” by defeating The Undertaker and retaining his title?
