Final Build To WWE Hell in a Cell

Six nights before WWE Hell in a Cell, the 905th edition of WWE Monday Night RAW came to you from the Conseco Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, IN. Six nights before he defends the WWE Title against Sheamus inside the demonic Hell in a Cell, WWE Champion Randy Orton would go one-one-one with Chris Jericho in a match where, if Chris Jericho wins, he will become the #1 Contender for the WWE Title, but if Jericho loses, Randy Orton has vowed to send Chris Jericho off of RAW for good!

Monday Night RAW (September 27, 2010)
Good Week For: Randy Orton (sent a vicious message to Sheamus by punting Chris Jericho in the skull)
Bad Week For: Chris Jericho (was the victim of a vile and career-threatening punt by Randy Orton)

Detailed Results Follow…

As a result of the attack he suffered last week, United States Champion Daniel Bryan would team with “The Monday Night Delight” John Morrison to face the two Superstars responsible for the attack in “Mr. Money-in-the-Bank” The Miz and his personally signed “apprentice” Alex Riley! In the end, it was The Miz shoving Daniel Bryan into John Morrison, allowing Miz to take advantage and hit the Skull Crushing Finale en route to picking up the win! After the match, The Miz delivers a kick to the mid-section of Daniel Bryan, but before The Miz could do more damage, John Morrison attacked The Miz and the two former tag team partners spilled to the outside where they brawled until Daniel Bryan dove over the top rope onto both Miz and Morrison! This would spark an all-out brawl between Daniel Bryan, The Miz, & John Morrison and the brawl would come to an end when the anonymous General Manager of RAW chimes in with an email that announces a big match for WWE Hell in a Cell as Daniel Bryan will make his first defense of the United States Title this Sunday against both The Miz and John Morrison in the first ever Triple Threat Submissions Count Anywhere Match where submissions will count anywhere where the first Superstar to earn a submission will be the United States Champion! Can Daniel Bryan retain his United States Title in such a unique match this Sunday night at WWE Hell in a Cell?

With the self-proclaimed “co- Divas Champions” Layla & Michelle McCool guests on commentary, a Divas Battle Royal would take place on RAW to determine the new #1 Contender for the Divas Title as Melina, Eve Torres, Maryse, Natalya, Tamina, Alicia Fox, Gail Kim, Jillian, & The Bella Twins would compete to face either Layla or Michelle McCool for the gold! In the end, it came down to Natalya and Alicia Fox and Natalya would emerge from the clutches of defeat to eliminate Alicia Fox and become the new #1 Contender for the Divas Championship! When will Natalya get her shot at the Divas Title? Which member of LayCool will Natalya face?

Backstage, Ted DiBiase & Maryse are arguing over who cost them the match last week when there is a knock on the door and, when no one answers, DiBiase finds a not that states “next week, you will be mine”! Who is the secret admirer and are these messages for Ted DiBiase or Maryse?

Six nights before he challenges Randy Orton for the WWE Title inside the demonic Hell in a Cell at WWE Hell in a Cell, “The Celtic Warrior” Sheamus makes an appearance on RAW! Sheamus states that he is willing to “cut off” his own hand to regain the WWE Title before proclaiming that he is going to have the time of his life facing Randy Orton inside Hell in a Cell! Sheamus would then lay out an open challenge for anyone in the locker room to face him and the challenge would be answered by the seven foot tall Great Khali! The match would spill the outside where Sheamus would attack The Great Khali with peaces of the announce table and a couple of chairs, resulting in a disqualification! The Great Khali would fight back with a chop, but Sheamus would blast Khali with not one, but two Brogue Kicks! Sheamus appears ready to venture into hell this Sunday, but can Sheamus regain the WWE Title from Randy Orton inside the satanic Hell in a Cell?

Then it was time for a very special edition of The Cutting Edge with “The Rated-R Superstar” Edge as Edge’s guest will be none other than the anonymous General Manager of RAW as the GM will communicate with Edge through his signature laptop! Edge reveals that the anonymous RAW General Manager will answer his questions via a computerized voice in order to keep the GM’s identity a secret! Edge would then ask the anonymous GM why he/she is such a “spineless coward” and the computerized voice of the GM calls Edge a “moron” and says that if people knew he/she was, it would “change everything”! Edge then calls the anonymous GM a “big, fat liar” and the GM responds by asking Edge why Edge despises him! After stopping himself from arguing with a computer, Edge says that he is going to ask Chris Jericho who the GM is, but the GM says that Chris Jericho is “bluffing”! As Edge walks away from the anonymous GM, the GM reveals that Edge will go one-on-one with John Cena!

As ordered by the anonymous General Manager of RAW during The Cutting Edge, John Cena, six nights before he faces Wade Barrett at WWE Hell in a Cell with major implications, would go one-on-one with “The Rated-R Superstar” Edge! In the end, it was Edge hitting the Spear on John Cena and, despite Cena’s foot being under the bottom rope, the referee would make the three count! However, the anonymous General Manager of RAW would chime with an email ordering the match to continue due to John Cena’s foot being under the bottom rope! The match would then continue and John Cena would catch Edge in his STF, forcing Edge to tap out! After the match, Edge would slide to the outside of the ring where the anonymous GM would tell Edge that Edge lost “fair and square” before advising Edge to just “walk away”! Edge would start to walk away, but would turn around and knock over the podium that the GM’s laptop sits on and Edge would proceed to snap the laptop in two and completely demolish the computer with a steel chair, even smashing the remains of the laptop on his own head! What will be the repercussions of Edge completely demolishing the anonymous RAW General Manager’s only form of communication?

In what could be their final night in existence, depending on the result of the John Cena Vs. Wade Barrett match at WWE Hell in a Cell, two members of The Nexus would be in tag team action as Heath Slater & Justin Gabriel would face Evan Bourne & Mark Henry! In the end, Evan Bourne would look to have the match finished for himself and Mark Henry after hitting the Air Bourne, but Heath Slater would push Justin Gabriel, shifting the momentum and allowing Gabriel to pick up the win for himself and Heath Slater! After the match, The Nexus took Mark Henry out on the outside of the ring before laying Evan Bourne out with all of their finishers in the ring! After the match, Nexus leader Wade Barrett proclaims that, after WWE Hell in a Cell, John Cena will be the “property” of The Nexus and, with Cena, they will “demoralize” the WWE! David Otunga then reminds everyone that they will invade SmackDown before Michael Tarver states that they are the “bad news” because no one can stop them! What kind of impact will The Nexus have on the live Syfy debut of SmackDown this Friday night?

In a rematch from their controversial title match on last week’s Friday Night SmackDown, WWE Tag Team Champions Drew McIntyre & “Dashing” Cody Rhodes would defend the WWE Tag Team Titles against the former champions, The Hart Dynasty! In the end, it was Drew McIntyre shoving Tyson Kidd into David Hart Smith that would allow “Dashing” Cody Rhodes to catch David Hart Smith with the Cross Rhodes en route to retaining the WWE Tag Team Titles! After the match, David Hart Smith blamed the loss on Tyson Kidd before walking away from his tag team partner! Is The Hart Dynasty on the verge of imploding?

Then it was time for the main event as, six nights before he defends the WWE Title against Sheamus inside the demonic Hell in a Cell, WWE Champion Randy Orton would go one-on-one with Chris Jericho in a non-title match where, if Chris Jericho wins, he will become the #1 Contender for the WWE Title, but if Jericho loses, Orton has vowed to send Jericho off of RAW for good! During the match, Randy Orton was poised for victory as he prepared to hit the RKO on Chris Jericho, but Sheamus would enter the ring, bringing an end to the match! Randy Orton would ultimately plant Sheamus with a suspended DDT and would prepare for the career-threatening punt on Sheamus, but Chris Jericho would catch Orton with the Codebreaker as Orton winded up for the punt! Chris Jericho would then grab a steel chair and would be ready to blast Orton with it, but Orton would dodge the shot and hit the RKO on Chris Jericho! Then, in a sinister direct message to Sheamus, Randy Orton would deliver the vile, career-threatening punt to the skull of Chris Jericho! What is the status of Chris Jericho following the vicious punt? What awaits Sheamus this Sunday when he challenges Randy Orton for the WWE Title inside Hell in a Cell? Could Sheamus suffer the same fate as Chris Jericho?

The fourth week of NXT Season Three came to you from the U.S. Cellular Coliseum in Bloomington, IL. One week before the first elimination takes place, Naomi, A.J., Jamie, Aksana, Maxine, & Kaitlyn would be looking to impress the WWE Pros and the WWE fans into keeping them in the competition! With the Rookie Diva with the most NXT challenge wins guaranteed immunity from the first elimination, Naomi and A.J. both have two NXT challenge wins while Jamie and Kaitlyn both have one challenge win, the NXT challenges would continue on NXT!

WWE NXT (September 28, 2010)
Good Week For: A.J. (won her third NXT challenge; more than any other Rookie Diva)
Bad Week For: Aksana & Maxine (have not won any NXT challenges with only one week remaining until the first NXT elimination)

Detailed Results Follow…

The show kicks off with the introduction of the NXT Rookie Divas as A.J., Naomi, Aksana, Jamie, Maxine, & Kaitlyn take their places on the stage! NXT Host Matt Striker then introduces the next NXT challenge as the six Rookie Divas will compete in the Wheelbarrow Challenge where the Rookie Diva who pushes the wheelbarrow around the ring and over the finishing line in the quickest time will be the winner and, sitting in the wheelbarrow will be none other than Hornswoggle! Maxine was up first and finished with a time of 14.7 seconds, followed by Naomi, who finishes with a time of 15.2 seconds! Jamie was up next and scored a time of 14.4 seconds, establishing the new time to beat! Up next was Kaitlyn, who scored a time of 12.0 seconds, establishing a new time to beat! A.J. was up next with a time of 17.7 seconds and Aksana was the last Rookie Diva to take the challenge, scoring a time of 13.9 seconds, meaning that Kaitlyn is the winner of the NXT challenge, putting her total NXT challenge wins to two, the same as A.J. and Naomi! Who will ultimately be immune from the first NXT elimination next week?

It was revealed during NXT that, starting with next week’s show, NXT will become exclusive to WWE.com! While NXT moves to WWE.com next week, which Rookie Diva will not move on in the competition after the first NXT elimination next week?

Then it was time for the six Rookie Divas to get an opportunity to Diss The Diva as the six Rookie Divas will explain why they deserve to win while the others do not! Aksana was up first as the Lithuanian Rookie Diva says that she goes to the gym “every morning” because she “takes care” of her body while the other Rookie Divas have “pancakes” for breakfast while she is a former Arnold Classic winner before proclaiming that all the Rookie Divas “wanna be like Aksana”! A.J. was up next and A.J. states that she will be the “bigger woman” and not run down the competition and states that Divas do not have to be made up because Divas can be into video games, action movies, cars, etc. before proclaiming that it is “about time” to “redefine” what Diva means it is “about time” for the Pros and fans to vote for A.J.! Up next was Kaitlyn, who opts to do an “impression” of Naomi, which prompts to shove Kaitlyn and Kaitlyn tells the fans to remember who just fell on her face and remember who will win NXT Season Three! Up next was Jamie and Jamie states that she does not need to talk about how Aksana dresses like she is in the “circus” or how A.J. acts like a “ten year old on Christmas morning” before saying that she does need to insult them because she will be the winner of NXT Season Three! Naomi is up next and proclaims that she has the other Rookie Divas “beat” when it comes to “wrestling” and “entertainment” before getting in the face of Kaitlyn and calls her “way too cocky and way too arrogant” for reasons she don’t understand! Lastly, Maxine takes the microphone and states that she is “sick and tired” of the “typical Diva”, who are “overly perky and nice”, who even “smile when they lose”! Maxine then asks the men in the audience what they could do with a “nice” Diva and proclaims that the “only position” for her is at the top of the WWE! The fans then roar their approval for A.J., meaning that A.J. has three wins in NXT challenges! A.J’s celebration is short-lived as SmackDown Consultant and WWE Pro Vickie Guerrero interrupts and confronts her Rookie Diva Kaitlyn! Vickie states that she has “tried” to make Kaitlyn into a “reflection” of her and tells Kaitlyn to “step it up”! Kaitlyn responds by saying that, since the beginning of Season Three, she has tried her “hardest” and all Vickie has done has bring her “down” before saying that she will “step it up” before challenging Vickie Guerrero to a match and Vickie accepts the match for next week before proclaiming that, next week, she will prove that she is the “Pro” and Kaitlyn is “nothing”! Vickie would then slap Kaitlyn across the face, leading to a brawl between Vickie & Kaitlyn that NXT Host Matt Striker breaks up the fight! Who will win when WWE Pro Vickie Guerrero goes one-on-one with her NXT Rookie Diva Kaitlyn next week? Which Rookie Diva will face elimination next week when NXT moves to WWE.com?

The 76th edition of WWE Superstars came to you from the Conseco Fieldhouse and from the U.S. Cellular Coliseum in Bloomington, IL. In a rematch from their intense back-and-forth battle a couple of weeks ago on SmackDown, former Intercontinental Champion Kofi Kingston would go one-on-one with “The All-American American” Jack Swagger! Also, just five nights before one of their Rookie Divas could be eliminated, WWE Pros The Bella Twins, with their Rookie Diva Jamie in their corner, would face WWE Pro Alicia Fox & Jillian, with Alicia Fox’s Rookie Diva Maxine in her corner!

WWE Superstars (September 30, 2010)
Good Week For: The Bella Twins (defeated Alicia Fox & Jillian in the opening match)
Bad Week For: Kofi Kingston (despite winning via disqualification, was caught in the ankle lock after the match)

Detailed Results Follow…

The opening match saw Divas tag team action as The Bella Twins, with their NXT Rookie Diva Jamie in their corner, would face Alicia Fox & Jillian, with Alicia Fox’s NXT Rookie Diva Maxine in her corner! In the end, it was The Bella Twins switching places, allowing Brie Bella to score the roll-up on Jillian for the win!

Then it was time for the main event as, in a rematch from their encounter a couple of weeks ago on SmackDown, former Intercontinental Champion Kofi Kingston would go one-on-one with “The All-American American” Jack Swagger! After Jack Swagger was finally able to lock in his ankle lock on Kofi Kingston, but when Kofi got to the ropes, Swagger refused to break the hold, even after the referee’s five count, earning a disqualification win for Kofi Kingston! After the match, Jack Swagger would attack Kofi Kingston on the outside of the ring and ultimately torture Kofi further by locking the ankle lock in again! What is the status of Kofi Kingston following this attack? How will Kofi Kingston respond?

Christian Out of Action with Torn Pectoral Muscle: WWE.com has revealed that, as a result of the attack by Alberto Del Rio, SmackDown Superstar Christian has suffered a torn pectoral muscle. “Captain Charisma” had surgery to repair the injury on Thursday and will be out of action anywhere from four to six months.

For the first time in the unforgettable eleven year history of SmackDown, the Friday night juggernaut will “imagine greater” as WWE Friday Night SmackDown comes to Syfy! The debut of SmackDown on Syfy came to you, live, from the Ford Center in Oklahoma City, OK. The big move to Syfy will also be celebrated by a former Superstar of the brand as RAW Superstar John Cena will make a special appearance, but Cena’s appearance and the entire show may be derailed as the five ruthless members of The Nexus will also appear on the show just two nights before John Cena goes one-on-one with Nexus leader Wade Barrett in a match that, is Barrett wins, then John Cena joins The Nexus, but if Cena wins, then The Nexus completely disbands! The live Syfy debut of SmackDown would also feature the return of a SmackDown icon as “The Master of the 619” Rey Mysterio would return to SmackDown! Two nights before he goes to war with his brother, Kane, for the World Heavyweight Title inside the demonic Hell in a Cell, The Undertaker, back with the man who holds the source of his power, “The Father of Destruction” Paul Bearer, would go one-on-one with “The Straightedge Savior” CM Punk!

LIVE Syfy Debut of Friday Night SmackDown (October 1, 2010)
Good Week For: The Undertaker (with his power returned to him, defeated CM Punk and got the better of his brother, Kane)
Bad Week For: Big Show (passed out as a result of the devastating and painful submission hold of The Nexus)

Detailed Results Follow…

The live Syfy debut of SmackDown kicks off big with the Intercontinental Title up for grabs as Dolph Ziggler would defend the gold against “The Ballin’ Superstar” MVP! During the match, however, Dolph Ziggler would find himself on the outside of the ring as The Nexus would emerge and attack the Intercontinental Champion, leaving him laid out! The ruthless Nexus would then enter the ring and, like The Nexus has done so many times to so many different Superstars and other WWE employees, by attacking and leaving MVP laid out! “The World’s Largest Athlete” Big Show would then come out and would fight off The Nexus, but the four-on-one odds would eventually wear the giant Superstar down and take Show to the outside of the ring! John Cena would then rush out and try his hand at attacking the group that he looks to disband this Sunday, but Cena would also be overwhelmed by the numbers of The Nexus, but Big Show would enter the ring wielding a steel chair and would land a shot on Heath Slater before The Nexus retreats! Nexus leader Wade Barrett would then appear on the big screen and, after reminding John Cena of the stakes this Sunday, reveals that he is friends with the head of Syfy as they are both natives of England and the head of Syfy allowed him to “suggest” some matches for SmackDown! A visibly unhappy Theodore Long then announces that Big Show will be in action against all five members of The Nexus in a 5-on-1 Handicap Match! Not only that, but the General Manager of SmackDown announces that John Cena would go one-on-one with the World Heavyweight Champion Kane with the five ruthless members of The Nexus, including his WWE Hell in a Cell opponent Wade Barrett, serving as lumberjacks! Can Big Show survive all five members of The Nexus? How will John Cena fare against the demonic Kane with The Nexus surrounding the ring as lumberjacks?

It was announced on SmackDown that, this Sunday at WWE Hell in a Cell, Michelle McCool will defend the Unified Divas Title against Natalya! Will the powerful second-generation Natalya win her first championship in WWE or will Michelle McCool retain the Unified Divas Title?

The RAW and SmackDown Divas would celebrate the big move to Syfy as self-proclaimed “co-Unified Divas Champions” Layla & Michelle McCool would team with RAW Divas Maryse & Alicia Fox to face the new #1 Contender for the Unified Divas Title, Natalya, who would team with Kelly Kelly & The Bella Twins in an 8-Diva Tag Match! During the match, Hornswoggle would emerge from under the ring, trying to get his little hands on Layla, but as Hornswoggle rounded the corner, Michelle McCool would blast Hornswoggle with a big boot! Meanwhile, in the ring, Maryse would go for the French Kiss DDT on Natalya, but Natalya would counter and lock Maryse in the Sharpshooter, forcing the former Divas Champion to tap out! Natalya appears ready to dethrone Michelle McCool by winning the Unified Divas Title, but can Natalya win the gold or will Michelle McCool retain? What role will Layla play in the match?

With the live Syfy debut of SmackDown being in his home state of Oklahoma, “The All-American American” Jack Swagger presented his own Homecoming Celebration on SmackDown! Jack Swagger reveals that he will have a “huge announcement”, but first says that he has a “problem” with every Oklahoman in the arena and he has a “problem” with the entire state of Oklahoma! Swagger continues that he put Oklahoma “on the map” and he does not get a “parade” or a “Jack Swagger Day”! Swagger continues that it is why him and his “Swagger Soaring Eagle” personal mascot have moved out of Oklahoma and to Oklahoma’s rival state to the south, Texas! Swagger continues that, despite not having a “parade” or “Jack Swagger Day”, he is still going to “give back” to Oklahoma before proclaiming that he is Oklahoma’s “king”! Swagger then reveals that there is only “one person” qualified for his “coronation” before proclaiming himself the “official, undisputed king of Oklahoma”! Swagger then puts on a crown and orders the Oklahoma crowd to get on their “knees” and “worship” him before Swagger is interrupted by “The Rated-R Superstar” Edge! Swagger states that he was “busy” as the crowd was about to “worship” him and urges the fans to “continue”! Edge says that they are not going to “continue” because, after demolishing the laptop the anonymous GM of RAW on Monday night, he vowed that, regardless of the brand, he would go on a “mission” to rid the WWE of anything that is “stupid”! Swagger then argues that having his own personal mascot is “cool” and, after Edge calls it “ridiculous”, Swagger warns Edge not to make fun of the “Swagger Soaring Eagle”! Edge then states that the mascot, as well as Swagger’s crown and cape is “stupid” before stating that he is going to start his “mission”! Swagger would hide behind his mascot, prompting Edge to punch the mascot in the beak, which led to Swagger exiting the ring as Edge would proceed to lay the “Swagger Soaring Eagle” out with the Spear!

Then it was time for the 5-on-1 Handicap Match as “The World’s Largest Athlete” Big Show would face all five members of The Nexus; Wade Barrett, David Otunga, Justin Gabriel, Heath Slater, & Michael Tarver! In the end, it was Wade Barrett locking in a unique submission on the head of Big Show while the other four Nexus members lock in a submission on every arm and leg of Big Show, ultimately forcing “The World’s Largest Athlete” to pass out from the pain! After the match, Wade Barrett ordered Justin Gabriel to hit, not one, but two 450 Splashes on Big Show! What is the status of Big Show following this unique submission?

Two nights before he faces his brother, Kane, for the World Heavyweight Title inside the demonic Hell in a Cell, The Undertaker, with his confidante Paul Bearer in his corner holding the urn that lends The Undertaker his powers, would go one-on-one with a familiar adversary in “The Straightedge Savior” CM Punk! In the end, it was a rejuvenated Undertaker that would dominate the match and ultimately spike CM Punk with the Tombstone Piledriver en route to picking up the win! The Undertaker appears to be back to his former glory, but can he defeat his diabolical brother, Kane, for the World Heavyweight Title inside Hell in a Cell this Sunday night?

On a night where the Superstar whose wrist he broke last month, Rey Mysterio, would make his return, Alberto Del Rio made an appearance on SmackDown as Del Rio refers to himself as “the Mexican icon” and “one of the greatest of all time” before calling Rey a “powerless, weak peasant”! Del Rio then states that he is there to “apologize” to Rey Mysterio before introducing Rey Mysterio, but Del Rio’s personal ring announcer, Ricardo Rodriguez, brings out a chihuhua in a Rey Mysterio mask, complete with a cast on its arm! This would prompt Rey Mysterio to run out and attack Del Rio, but Del Rio would escape! Rey would then attack Ricardo Rodriguez, laying the ring announcer out with the 619 as Del Rio looked on! When will Rey Mysterio get his shot at facing Alberto Del Rio one-in-one?

Another former SmackDown Superstar would make an appearance on the live Syfy debut of SmackDown as the WWE Champion himself, Randy Orton, would go one-on-one with his former protégé in one-half of the WWE Tag Team Champions “Dashing” Cody Rhodes in a non-title bout just two nights before Orton defends the WWE Title against Sheamus inside the unforgiving Hell in a Cell! In the end, it was Randy Orton coming out of nowhere to hit the RKO on “Dashing” Cody Rhodes en route to picking up the win! After the match, the other half of the WWE Tag Team Champions, Drew McIntyre, would enter the ring and lock Randy Orton in for the Future Shock DDT, but Orton would get out of the move and ultimately lay McIntyre out with the RKO as well! Sheamus would then rush the ring and ultimately lay the WWE Champion out with the Brogue Kick! What will go down this Sunday night when Randy Orton defends the WWE Title against Sheamus inside Hell in a Cell?

Then it was time for the main event as, two nights before he faces his rejuvenated brother, The Undertaker, inside Hell in a Cell with the World Heavyweight Title on the line, World Heavyweight Champion Kane would go one-on-one with John Cena in a Lumberjack Match with the five ruthless members of The Nexus surrounding the ring as lumberjacks! During the match, Kane would get sent to the outside where The Nexus would not attack Kane, but when The Nexus gets on the ring apron and John Cena knocks Justin Gabriel off of the apron onto Kane, all bets were off as Kane fought The Nexus as Cena would narrowly escape another attack by The Nexus! The lights would go out and the familiar gong would sound as, when the lights came back on, The Undertaker was standing behind his brother Kane in the ring as the brothers would brawl in and around the ring and even fighting in the crowd before finally ending up back in the ring! Kane would then grab the throat of The Undertaker, but upon setting his sights on the urn held by Paul Bearer, Undertaker would counter and deliver a chokeslam to Kane, but as The Undertaker gets ready to spike Kane with the Tombstone Piledriver, Kane narrowly escapes the ring! What will happen this Sunday night when there is no escape as these two brothers will be locked inside the unforgiving Hell in a Cell with the World Heavyweight Title on the line?
