Build To WWE Bragging Rights

Thirteen days before WWE Bragging Rights, the 907th edition of WWE Monday Night RAW came to you, live, from the KeyArena at the Seattle Center in Seattle, WA. One week after being given the ultimatum by the anonymous RAW General Manager to obey the orders of his new leader, Nexus leader Wade Barrett or be fired and, as a result, helping Wade Barrett become the new #1 Contender for the WWE Title with a shot at the gold at WWE Bragging Rights, John Cena would spend his second week as an unwilling member of The Nexus! On SmackDown, it was revealed that Big Show will serve as the Team Captain for Team SmackDown in the 7-on-7 RAW Vs. SmackDown Bragging Rights Tag Match and, on RAW, the Team Captain for Team RAW would be revealed!

Monday Night RAW (October 11, 2010)
Good Week For: The Miz (with help from Alex Riley, Husky Harris, & Michael McGillicutty, became Captain of Team RAW)
Bad Week For: John Cena (was once again humiliated by Wade Barrett with the inability to do anything about it)

Detailed Results Follow…

One week after being left no choice but to help his new leader, Wade Barrett, become the new #1 Contender for the WWE Title, the show kicks off with the newest, and most reluctant, recruit into The Nexus, John Cena! Cena says that, last week, he heard the fans chant something that he had never heard before as they chanted Cena’s decree, “never give up”! Cena states that he will “never give up”, but he did make a “deal” at WWE Hell in a Cell where, if he lost to Wade Barrett, he would become a member of The Nexus, and as a member of The Nexus, he must listen to the orders of Wade Barrett or be fired from the entire WWE! Cena then states that the WWE is what he “lives for” before telling the fans that they may see him do some things that they do not want to see him do and that he does not “want” to do them, but he knows the “type of guy” that Wade Barrett is! However, John Cena is then interrupted by “Mr. Money-in-the-Bank” The Miz, along with his “apprentice”, Alex Riley, as Miz states that he has taken it upon himself to captain Team RAW for the RAW Vs. SmackDown Bragging Rights Tag Match against Big Show and Team SmackDown! Miz then states that he does not pick his teammates by judging them “personally” before offering John Cena a spot on Team RAW! Miz states that they could avenge their loss in last year’s Bragging Rights Tag Match and give RAW “bragging rights”! Cena responds by stating that The Miz serving as Team Captain of RAW is “ridiculous”, saying Miz leading Team RAW would be a “disaster” before saying that he has “nothing” else going on at WWE Bragging Rights, so he might as well be Team Captain! Nexus leader Wade Barrett then interrupts and states that he does “not care” about RAW or SmackDown, because all he cares about is The Nexus and the WWE Title before telling John Cena that he needs Cena’s “complete, undivided attention” on “one thing only” at Bragging Rights, to be in his corner when he challenges Randy Orton for the WWE Title before telling Cena to “forget about” any ideas of being on Team RAW! Cena brings up being on Team RAW and being in Barrett’s corner, but Barrett sternly tells Cena that he will be in his corner before asking if Cena is going to “disobey” his orders! The Miz’s personally signed “apprentice”, Alex Riley, interrupts and states that The Miz might cash in his Money-in-the-Bank contract after the WWE Title match at Bragging Rights and become the WWE Champion! Miz then snatches the microphone from Alex Riley and states that he could lead Team RAW to victory and win the WWE Title! The anonymous General Manager of RAW then chimes in with an email that, as read by Michael Cole, states that, while John Cena “answers” to Wade Barrett, Barrett and everyone on the RAW Roster “answers” to him! The GM then announces that there will be a series of matches to determine who will be a part of Team RAW and, as far as the Team Captain goes, he does not want a team that suffers from “jealousy” and has the “potential for betrayal” like last year before announcing that the main event will determine who will serve Team RAW as the Team Captain as John Cena will go one-on-one with “Mr. Money-in-the-Bank” The Miz! Miz then states that he will be Team Captain of RAW and he might cash in his title opportunity at Bragging Rights and become WWE Champion! Miz then gets in the face of Wade Barrett and tells that there is “nothing” that Barrett can do about it and Barrett responds by headbutting The Miz, sparking a two-on-one beatdown from The Miz & Alex Riley and, after watching the beatdown take place for a couple of minutes, John Cena would respond to Barrett requesting his help by sending The Miz packing out of the ring and planting Alex Riley with the Attitude Adjustment, but Wade Barrett would still get in the face of Cena and shout at his newest recruit! Who will be the Team Captain of Team RAW when John Cena goes one-on-one with The Miz in the main event? How will Wade Barrett respond if John Cena does captain Team RAW?

One week after having his Million Dollar Title taken away from him by Goldust, “The Fortunate Son” Ted DiBiase would go one-one with R-Truth with the winner earning a spot on Team RAW in the RAW Vs. SmackDown Bragging Rights Tag Match! During the match, Goldust would appear on the stage, with his NXT Rookie Diva Aksana, with the Million Dollar Title on his shoulder! Goldust’s presence would ultimately cost Ted DiBiase the match as R-Truth would hit the Lie Detector on DiBiase en route to picking up the win and become a member of Team RAW for the Bragging Rights Tag Match! How will Ted DiBiase respond to Goldust’s distraction? Who else will be on Team RAW?

Then it was time to determine the second member of Team RAW as “The Monday Night Delight” John Morrison would go one-on-one with one-half of The Hart Dynasty, Tyson Kidd, in a match that was originally slated to be a Triple Threat Match also involving Kidd’s tag partner, David Hart Smith, but Smith was nowhere to be found! At the end of a high-flying and competitive match, it was John Morrison hitting a jaw-dropping back flip STO on Tyson Kidd en route to picking up the win and becoming the second Superstar to join Team RAW in the Bragging Rights Tag Match! Who else will join Team RAW?

Backstage, Nexus members David Otunga, Heath Slater, & Justin Gabriel try and get answers out of Husky Harris & Michael McGillicutty over their interference at WWE Hell in a Cell and what they are getting out of it, but Nexus leader Wade Barrett comes in and tells Harris & McGillicutty to “take a walk” before telling David Otunga he will go one-on-one with WWE Champion Randy Orton, but Otunga delegates his match to Justin Gabriel, who gladly accepts the task to face Randy Orton one-on-one with David Otunga & Heath Slater in Gabriel’s corner! What awaits Randy Orton when he faces Justin Gabriel with David Otunga & Heath Slater lurking at ringside?

Then it was time to determine the third member of Team RAW as Santino Marella would go one-on-one with “The Long Island Iced Z” Zack Ryder! In the end, it was Santino Marella hitting the Cobra Strike en route to picking up the win and becoming a member of Team RAW! After the match, Santino’s recent love interest, Tamina, would come out and would overpower Santino in their celebration over Santino’s win!

Thirteen nights before he defends the WWE Title against Nexus leader, Wade Barrett, WWE Champion Randy Orton would go one-on-one with Nexus member Justin Gabriel, with fellow Nexus members David Otunga & Heath Slater in his corner in a non-title match! Early in the match, Randy Orton would find himself on the outside of the ring with David Otunga & Heath Slater and Orton would land a kick on Otunga before the referee steps in and orders Otunga & Slater to leave the ringside area! At the end of a hard-fought match, it was Randy Orton coming out of nowhere with the RKO on Justin Gabriel en route to picking up the win!

Then it was time to determine the fourth member of Team RAW as, in a rematch from last week, Washington’s own United States Champion Daniel Bryan would go one-on-one with former WWE Champion, “The Celtic Warrior” Sheamus in a non-title match! Despite an incredible fight by Daniel Bryan, it was Sheamus blasting Bryan with the Brogue Kick en route to picking up the win and securing his spot on Team RAW! With R-Truth, John Morrison, Santino Marella, and, now, Sheamus on Team RAW, who else will fill out the team? Who will be the Team Captain, John Cena or The Miz?

After it was announced on last week’s RAW by the anonymous RAW General Manager that Edge was traded to SmackDown, the Superstar that was traded to RAW in exchange for Edge was revealed to be none other than a three time World Heavyweight Champion and former leader of The Straightedge Society, “The Straightedge Savior” CM Punk!

Following the big announcement that he was traded to RAW in exchange for Edge going to SmackDown, RAW’s newest acquisition, “The Straightedge Savior” CM Punk would go one-on-one with Evan Bourne, with the winner earning the fifth spot on Team RAW! In the end, it was CM Punk hitting the GTS on Evan Bourne en route to picking up an impressive win over Bourne to become the fifth Superstar to join Team RAW! After the match, CM Punk would knock Evan Bourne to the outside where Punk would viciously assault Bourne, hurling the high-flyer into the barricade twice and sending Bourne shoulder-first into the steel ring post before locking in the Anaconda Vice on Bourne on the outside of the ring, refusing to relinquish the hold until referees were finally able to get Punk to release it! What was the reason for CM Punk’s attack on Evan Bourne? What awaits CM Punk now that he is back on RAW?

Eight nights after finding herself disqualified as a result of Layla’s interference, keeping her from winning the Unified Divas Title, the #1 Contender for the Unified Divas Title, Natalya, made an appearance on RAW and called LayCool as “cheap” as the heels that Layla threw at her at WWE Hell in a Cell! Natalya then states that, in two weeks at Bragging Rights, all LayCool will be throwing is a “temper tantrum” after she wins the Unified Divas Title! Natalya is then interrupted by the self-proclaimed “co-Unified Divas Champions” Layla & Michelle McCool as LayCool tells Natalya that Natalya has more “courage” than any other Diva coming out there in high definition, meaning everyone can see Natalya’s “flaws” and insults Natalya by saying the second-generation competitor has the same facial hair as her father, Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart! Natalya responds by calling LayCool the most “annoying” Divas in the WWE before saying that LayCool is only confirming that their “IQs” is lower than their “non-existent waistlines”! LayCool then proclaims that they are the “greatest Divas in WWE history” before mocking Natalya’s uncle, Hall of Famer Bret Hart, by saying they are “the best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be” before saying that all the Divas “love” them, just like Natalya will after Bragging Rights before LayCool exits the ring! However, the self-proclaimed “co-Unified Divas Champions” would find themselves faced with Melina, Eve Torres, Gail Kim, & The Bella Twins as the group of Divas back LayCool up before throwing Layla into the ring where Natalya nearly locks the Sharpshooter in on Layla, but Michelle McCool would pull Layla out of the ring before escaping through the crowd! Can Natalya dethrone LayCool by winning the Unified Divas Title at Bragging Rights? Which member of LayCool will defend the gold?

Then it was time for the main event as the Captain of Team RAW would be determined as John Cena would go one-on-one with “Mr. Money-in-the-Bank” The Miz, with The Miz’s “apprentice”, Alex Riley, in his corner, in a No Disqualification Match with the winner being named Team Captain! After fending off frequent interference by Alex Riley and was seemingly closing in on a victory when Husky Harris & Michael McGillicutty would enter the ring and McGillicutty would hit a swinging neckbreaker on John Cena, followed by Harris hitting the Husky Senton on Cena that would allow The Miz to pick up the win to become the Captain of Team RAW! After the match, John Cena would fend off Husky Harris & Michael McGillicutty, but Wade Barrett would pull John Cena off of them before the anonymous General manager of RAW chimes in with an email that makes the big announcement that, next week on RAW, Harris & McGillicutty would compete in their first tag team match together on RAW as they would face the team of John Cena and the WWE Champion Randy Orton! Following the GM’s announcement, Nexus leader Wade Barrett announces that if John Cena and Randy Orton lose, then he will officially induct Husky Harris & Michael McGillicutty into The Nexus! Wade Barrett then tells John Cena to “do the right thing” next week before goading Cena by saying that Cena refusing to hit him has “nothing to do” with getting fired by the anonymous GM, because Cena is “scared” of Wade Barrett and is a “coward” before saying that Cena is “afraid” that Barrett would “embarrass” him like he did at WWE Hell in a Cell! The brash Wade Barrett continues to taunt John Cena by turning his back to Cena and saying that Cena does not have the “guts” to do anything about it before calling Cena “pathetic” and “a total and utter disgrace”! A defeated and downtrodden John Cena would leave the ring, but Wade Barrett would “order” Cena to stop and turn around so Barrett could mock Cena by telling Cena “you can’t see me”! After two weeks of being embarrassed by Wade Barrett without the ability to do anything about it, how much more can John Cena take? Will John Cena continue to take the embarrassment in order to keep his job or will Cena choose his pride over his passion?

One week after the first NXT elimination saw Jamie eliminated from the NXT competition, sixth week of WWE NXT Season Three came to you from the Rose Garden in Portland, OR. One week after Jamie was eliminated, A.J., Naomi, Aksana, Maxine, & Kaitlyn would be looking to avoid the same fate as their fellow Rookie Diva as NXT Season Three continues!

WWE NXT (October 12, 2010)
Good Week For: Aksana (had her immigration problems resolved by agreeing to marry Goldust)
Bad Week For: Vickie Guerrero (was publicly insulted by her NXT Rookie Diva, Kaitlyn)

Detailed Results Follow…

As the five remaining NXT Rookie Divas would look to impress the WWE fans and WWE Pros into keeping them a part of the competition as A.J., Naomi, Aksana, Maxine, & Kaitlyn would compete in a WWE version of Name That Tune as the five Rookie Divas would be presented a WWE entrance theme and the first Rookie Diva to buzz in using their air horns would get to give their answer! At the end of the challenge, it was A.J. picking up yet another challenge victory!

NXT would also feature a WWE Pro Vs. NXT Rookie Diva match as WWE Pro Alicia Fox would go one-on-one with NXT Rookie Diva Naomi! In the end, it was Alicia Fox hitting the Fox Kick on Naomi en route to picking up the win!

Then it was time for the NXT Rookie Divas to step up to an Open Mic as the Rookie Divas would get an opportunity to express their opinions! First up was Naomi as the Rookie Diva selects a topic that all of the Rookie Divas have had to deal with and that is Michael Cole! Naomi tells Cole that she is “sick” of Cole’s “negativity” and tells the commentator that he is no Jim Ross, so Cole should stop thinking he is “all that” on commentary! Cole responds by saying, into his headset, that he is “not fat with a cowboy hat”! Naomi then asks Michael Cole why, if Cole is so tired of NXT, then why he is still on the show every week and Cole replies that he is doing his “job”, because he is a “professional”! Naomi then tells Cole that he needs to do something about his hair because it is a “mess”! Next up was A.J., who says she is going to put out a “personal ad” before saying that she is “single” and asking if a guy would be willing to go back to her “place” and play her “XBOX” or her “PS3” and they could also watch movies! Kaitlyn was up next with her topic of “age before beauty” as Kaitlyn targets her WWE Pro, Vickie Guerrero, by saying that Vickie is like a “fine wine”; she gets “better with age”, but corrects herself by saying that Vickie is like a “fine cheese” before saying that she and Vickie’s boyfriend, Dolph Ziggler, got a “gift” for Vickie by getting her “Bengay”! Aksana was up next with her selected topic of “America” as Aksana states that she hopes someone from “immigration” is watching before saying that, if it was not for America, there would be no WWE and, without the WWE, there would be no Aksana or Goldust! Aksana would then “thank” Christopher Columbus for founding America! Last up was Maxine with her topic of “disrespect” as Maxine states that, last week, she was “disrespected” by Hornswoggle before telling Hornswoggle that she “always ends up on top”! Maxine then states that Kaitlyn is “lucky” to have Vickie Guerrero as her WWE Pro before calling Kaitlyn a “home wrecker” for her involvement in the relationship between Vickie and Dolph Ziggler before saying that that is “not how ladies conduct business”!

Backstage, WWE Pro Vickie Guerrero confronts her NXT Rookie Diva Kaitlyn and warns Kaitlyn to not even “talk” to Dolph Ziggler or Kaitlyn being eliminated in the future will be the “least” of her “worries”! Will Kaitlyn obey the orders of her WWE Pro Vickie Guerrero?

Then it was time for the second NXT Challenge of the night as the five Rookie Divas would compete in the Power of the Punch Challenge, where the strongest punch would earn that Rookie Diva the victory! At the end of the challenge, it was Naomi emerging as the winner of another NXT challenge!

Then it was time for the main event as Rookie Diva A.J. would go one-on-one with fellow Rookie Diva, Aksana! In the end, it was A.J. picking up the win over Aksana! After the match, Aksana’s WWE Pro Goldust would confront Aksana about her immigration problems as her visa that allows her to be in America is having problems and, in one of the most shocking moments in NXT history, Goldust would get on one knee and propose his Rookie Diva, Aksana, as a way out of Aksana getting deported back to Lithuania and Aksana accepts her WWE Pro’s marriage proposal! When and where will this “golden” wedding take place? With the second NXT elimination coming up in a couple of weeks, will Aksana even still be in the NXT competition when the wedding takes place?

Former NXT Rookie Diva Released: After being eliminated from NXT Season Three last week, WWE has released former NXT Rookie Diva and former NXT Ring Announcer, Jamie (real name: Brittany Beede) from her WWE contract.

The 78th edition of WWE Superstars came to you from the KeyArena at the Seattle Center in Seattle, WA and from the Rose Garden in Portland, OR. After losing his WWE Superstars debut match, former Nexus member Darren Young would be looking to bounce back as Young would go one-on-one with Primo, with Primo’s NXT Rookie Diva A.J. in his corner! WWE Superstars would also see two former Divas Champions face off as Melina would go one-on-one with Alicia Fox, with Alicia Fox’s NXT Rookie Diva Maxine in her corner!

WWE Superstars (October 14, 2010)
Good Week For: Curt Hawkins & Darren Young (both proved that they can succeed on their own)
Bad Week For: Layla (lost to Kelly Kelly, with some help from Natalya)

Detailed Results Follow…

The show kicks off with one-half of the self-proclaimed “co-Unified Divas Champions” LayCool in action as Layla, with Michelle McCool in her corner, would go one-on-one with Kelly Kelly, with the #1 Contender for the Unified Divas Title at WWE Bragging Rights, Natalya, in her corner! In the end, it was Layla going for the Sharpshooter and mocking Natalya that would lead to Natalya getting involved in the match and allowing Kelly Kelly to roll up Layla to pick up the win! Natalya has, seemingly, got under the skin of LayCool, but can Natalya win the Unified Divas Title in nine nights at Bragging Rights?

One week after attacking and leaving his tag team partner, Vance Archer, laid out, effectively ending their partnership, Curt Hawkins would go one-on-one with one-half of The Dude Busters, Trent Barreta! In the end, it was Curt Hawkins hitting the Heat Seeking Elbow Drop on Trent Barreta en route to picking up the win! How will Curt Hawkins fare as a singles competitor?

Former Nexus member Darren Young would then go one-on-one with Primo, with Primo’s NXT Rookie Diva, A.J., in his corner! In the end, it was Darren Young hitting an impressive modified full nelson slam on Primo en route to picking up his first win on WWE Superstars!

Then it was time for the main event as former Divas Champions would square off as “The A-List Diva” Melina would go one-on-one with Alicia Fox, with Alicia Fox’s NXT Rookie Diva, Maxine, in her corner! In the end, it was a flexible version of the backslide roll-up that would earn Melina the win over Alicia Fox! Is Melina on her way back to contention for the Unified Divas Title?

Veteran SmackDown Superstar Released: WWE.com has announced that World Wrestling Entertainment has come to terms on the release of SmackDown Superstar Matt Hardy. In his time in the WWE, Matt has won the ECW Title, United States Title, Cruiserweight Title, Hardcore Title, European Title, and has had a total of eight reigns as tag team champion (seven of them being with his brother, Jeff). Matt’s last television appearance was on the September 10 edition of SmackDown, in a losing effort against Alberto Del Rio.

The 582nd edition of WWE Friday Night SmackDown came to you from the Rose Garden in Portland, OR. Twelve nights after being betrayed by his confidante and manager, Paul Bearer, leading to Kane retaining the World Heavyweight Title inside Hell in a Cell, The Undertaker would return to SmackDown to confront his brother, Kane, and “The Father of Destruction” Paul Bearer! Nine nights before Team RAW faces Team SmackDown in the annual 7-on-7 Bragging Rights Tag Match to determine brand supremacy, SmackDown would see the Team Captain, Big Show, begin to form a team capable of defeating Team RAW at WWE Bragging Rights!

Friday Night SmackDown (October 15, 2010)
Good Week For: The Undertaker (returned more powerful than ever to SmackDown, instilling fear in his brother, Kane)
Bad Week For: Kaval (after surviving a five-minute match with Big Show, has his spot on Team SmackDown taken from him by a returning Tyler Reks)

Detailed Results Follow…

The show kicks off with an ominous site as the outside of the Rose Garden is shown, but standing on the roof of the arena is none other than The Undertaker as “The Phenom” awaited the arrival of his brother, World Heavyweight Champion Kane! What does The Undertaker have in store for his younger brother, Kane, and the man who betrayed him, Paul Bearer?

The General Manager of SmackDown then makes an appearance as Theodore Long proclaims that SmackDown will take the Bragging Rights trophy for the second year in a row before announcing that the six unknown members of Team SmackDown will be determined in a series of qualifying matches with the winners becoming a member of Team SmackDown! Who will fill out Team SmackDown?

The opening match of the night was a qualifying match for Team SmackDown as “The Master of the 619” Rey Mysterio would go one-on-one with one-half of the WWE Tag Team Champions “Dashing” Cody Rhodes! In the end, it was Rey Mysterio hitting the 619 and following it up with a splash off of the ropes on “Dashing” Cody Rhodes en route to picking up the win and becoming the first Superstar to qualify for Team SmackDown at Bragging Rights! Team Captain Big Show and Rey Mysterio are a part of Team SmackDown, but who else will join the blue team?

Backstage, Kaval confronts the Team Captain of SmackDown, Big Show, about being a part of Team SmackDown and Big Show states that he is looking for “big Superstars” and he is a “different caliber of Superstar” than Kaval and Kaval could not last “five minutes” in the ring with him and Kaval responds by challenging Big Show to match where, if Kaval lasts five minutes in a match with Big Show, then he will be a part of Team SmackDown!

Twelve nights after betraying The Undertaker and ensuring that his son, Kane, retained the World Heavyweight Title inside Hell in a Cell, “The Father of Destruction” Paul Bearer made an appearance on SmackDown to issue a “challenge” to The Undertaker! Paul Bearer states that the “time” of The Undertaker’s “final reckoning is nigh” as he presents Undertaker his “instrument of ultimate destruction” before offering Undertaker “one last opportunity to take back the holy grail” in a fight with Kane where the winner will be World Heavyweight Champion and the loser will be “buried alive”! Bearer then states that he knows that The Undertaker’s “pride” will make him accept the challenge and, at Bragging Rights, Undertaker will be “beaten, broken, and incapacitated” and Undertaker will be “drowned in a hell of dirt and darkness”! Bearer continues that Kane’s “plan” is “almost complete” and, when he and Kane call out The Undertaker, everyone will see the “empty shell of a man” that The Undertaker has come and Kane will “tower” over The Undertaker and he “longs” to witness this moment! Will The Undertaker accept Kane and Paul Bearer’s challenge for a Buried Alive Match for the World Heavyweight Title at Bragging Rights?

With the Team Captain of SmackDown, Big Show, on commentary, “The All-American American” Jack Swagger, with the Swagger Soaring Eagle in his corner, would go one-on-one with “The Ballin’ Superstar” MVP with the winner being the second Superstar to qualify for Team SmackDown! During the match, the action would spill to the outside where the Swagger Soaring Eagle would step in between MVP and Jack Swagger, leading to MVP hurling Swagger’s mascot over the announce table! This distraction would allow Swagger to take advantage and ultimately lock in the ankle lock on MVP, forcing MVP to tap out en route to qualifying for Team SmackDown in the Bragging Rights Tag Match!

Then it was time for the fourth member of Team SmackDown to be determined as Alberto Del Rio would go one-on-one with “The Masterpiece” Chris Masters! In the end, it was Alberto Del Rio locking in the cross arm breaker on Chris Masters, forcing Masters to tap out en route to qualifying for Team SmackDown in the Bragging Rights Tag Match!

Then it was time to determine the fifth member of Team SmackDown as “The Rated-R Superstar” Edge would go one-on-one with the boyfriend of his ex-wife in the Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler! At the end of a hard-fought match, it was Edge catching Dolph Ziggler with a Spear in mid-air en route to picking up an impressive win and qualifying for Team SmackDown in the Bragging Rights Tag Match!

Then it was time for a 5-Minute Challenge as “The World Warrior” Kaval would go one-on-one with the Team Captain of SmackDown, “The World’s Largest Athlete” Big Show where, if Kaval lasts five minutes against Big Show, he would become the sixth member of Team SmackDown! Despite being dominated throughout the match, Kaval would fight back long enough to survive the rest of the five minutes, meaning that Kaval will be a part of Team SmackDown in the Bragging Rights Tag Match! Big Show, Rey Mysterio, Jack Swagger, Alberto Del Rio, Edge, and, now, Kaval are a part of Team SmackDown, but who will be the seventh member to join the team?

After lasting five minutes in a grueling match against Big Show to qualify for Team SmackDown in the Bragging Rights Tag Match, a still-recovering Kaval would be met by the return of a bigger, stronger, and improved Tyler Reks as Reks calls Kaval’s spot on Team SmackDown a “joke” and states that he is SmackDown’s “new breakout Superstar” and he “deserves” a spot on Team SmackDown because he can beat “giants” and he knows he can beat Kaval! The SmackDown General Manager Theodore Long intervenes and tells Reks that he can not let Reks face Kaval because Kaval just survived a match against Big Show, but Kaval tells GM that he does not need a “babysitter” and challenges Reks to come and “take” his Team SmackDown spot, which would prompt the GM to make the match official! The monstrous Tyler Reks would make quick work of a weakened Kaval by hitting a unique torture rack face plant en route to taking Kaval’s spot on Team SmackDown! Big Show, Rey Mysterio, Jack Swagger, Alberto Del Rio, Edge, and now the monstrous Tyler Reks are a part of Team SmackDown, but who will fill out the team as its seventh member?

Then it was time to determine the seventh and final member of Team SmackDown as Kofi Kingston would go one-on-one with one-half of the WWE Tag Team Champions, “The Sinister Scotsman” Drew McIntyre! In the end, it was Kofi Kingston coming out of nowhere with Trouble in Paradise on Drew McIntyre en route to picking up the win and becoming the final Superstar to qualify for Team SmackDown! Team SmackDown is complete with Big Show, Rey Mysterio, Jack Swagger, Alberto Del Rio, Edge, Tyler Reks, & Kofi Kingston, but can Team SmackDown overcome Team RAW at Bragging Rights to win the Bragging Rights trophy two year in a row?

With his father, Paul Bearer, accompanying him, World Heavyweight Champion Kane made an appearance on SmackDown and states that the “fact” is that Undertaker is a “despondent, dejected, shell of his former self” before proclaiming that he is “superior” to The Undertaker and all the fans! Kane states that The Undertaker has “failed” to regain the World Heavyweight Title on two separate occasions before vowing that The Undertaker will “fail” at Bragging Rights! Kane continues that the fans use The Undertaker to “escape” from their “colorless lives” while he “forces” the fans to “face reality” and that there is “no escape”! Kane then states The Undertaker will “never” stop him before stating that the fans’ “hopes” will be like The Undertaker, “buried alive”! The familiar sound of a gong then rings throughout the arena as the one and only Undertaker makes his entrance and marches to the ring with a sense of purpose as The Undertaker comes face-to-face with his brother, Kane, and the man who betrayed him, Paul Bearer! The Undertaker would then stare into the evil eyes of his brother before attacking Kane; waylaying and stomping away at his younger brother, forcing Kane to retreat from the ring! As a fright-filled Kane looks on, The Undertaker raises his arms and ignites the signature and mysterious fire of Kane! A visibly frightened Kane and Paul Bearer then retreat to the stage where The Undertaker summons a lightning bolt that strikes inches from the father and son! The Undertaker appears to be more than ready to combat his brother, but which of these two brothers will be buried alive in nine nights at WWE Bragging Rights? Will Kane successfully complete his thirteen year plan by burying The Undertaker alive or will The Undertaker finally put Kane in Kane’s final resting place as World Heavyweight Champion?
