WWE Bragging Rights Fallout

The second annual WWE Bragging Rights came to you, live on pay-per-view, from the Target Center in Minneapolis, MN. After SmackDown won the Bragging Rights Trophy last year, RAW would be looking to earn Bragging Rights for Monday Nights as “Mr. Money-in-the-Bank” The Miz would lead Team RAW; R-Truth, “The Guru of Greatness” John Morrison, Santino Marella, “The Celtic Warrior” Sheamus, “The Straightedge Savior” CM Punk, and the final ECW Champion in history, Ezekiel Jackson as Team RAW would face Team SmackDown as “The World’s Largest Athlete” Big Show would lead Team SmackDown, which consists of “The Master of the 619” Rey Mysterio, “The All-American American” Jack Swagger, Alberto Del Rio, the intimidating newcomer Tyler Reks, and former Intercontinental Champion Kofi Kingston as the two brands would collide in a 7-on-7 Bragging Rights Elimination Tag Match with the surviving brand earning the Bragging Rights Trophy for 2010! For the first time in seven years, a Superstar would be “buried alive” as the thirteen year sibling rivalry between Kane and The Undertaker would result in one brother being buried six feet under as Kane would defend the World Heavyweight Title against his brother, The Undertaker, in the rarely seen Buried Alive Match! Ever since Husky Harris & Michael McGillicutty cost John Cena his match against Wade Barrett at WWE Hell in a Cell, Cena has been given no option but to obey the orders of his new leader, Wade Barrett, as a reluctant member of The Nexus for, if Cena does not obey the orders, he would be fired from the entire WWE and, after being forced to allow Barrett to become the #1 Contender for the WWE Title, John Cena has been ordered to be in the corner of Nexus leader Wade Barrett when Barrett challenges Randy Orton for the WWE Title! On a night where RAW clashes with SmackDown over the Bragging Rights Trophy, an interpromotional battle of champions would take place as RAW’s United States Champion, Daniel Bryan, would go one-on-one with SmackDown’s Intercontinental Champion, Dolph Ziggler, in a Champion Vs. Champion Match! After being cheated out of the Divas Title at WWE Hell in a Cell when Layla threw her shoes at her in the middle of her match against Michelle McCool for the title, one-half of the self-proclaimed “co-Divas Champions” Layla would defend the Divas Title against the Diva she cost the title at WWE Hell in a Cell, Natalya! Also, after having his Million Dollar Title taken from him, “The Fortunate Son” Ted DiBiase, with Maryse in his corner, would go one-on-one with the Superstar who stole the Million Dollar Title, “The Bizarre One” Goldust, with Goldust’s fiancé and NXT Rookie Diva Aksana in his corner!

WWE Bragging Rights (October 24, 2010)
Good Night For: Team SmackDown (won the Bragging Rights trophy for the second year in a row)
Bad Night For: Wade Barrett (did not win the WWE Title thanks to being outsmarted by John Cena)

Detailed Results Follow…

The show kicks off with an interpromotional clash of champions as United States Champion Daniel Bryan from RAW would go one-on-one with Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler from SmackDown, with Dolph’s girlfriend Vickie Guerrero in his corner! At the end of an incredibly hard-fought match, it was Dolph Ziggler’s frustration over not being able to win that would allow Daniel Bryan to take advantage and lock in the LeBell Lock, ultimately forcing the Intercontinental Champion to tap out to pick up the win! Will Team RAW follow the pattern set by Daniel Bryan by defeating SmackDown?

The WWE Tag Team Champions, Drew McIntyre & “Dashing” Cody Rhodes would then make an appearance on Bragging Rights as “Dashing” Cody Rhodes says that no one has anything to “brag” about more than them since they are the tag champions! Drew McIntyre then states that they have “absolutely dominated” everyone from both RAW and SmackDown before saying that they have a “dilemma” because “nobody” wants to face them because everyone in the back is “scared to death” of them! The WWE Tag Team Champions are then interrupted by the anonymous General Manager of RAW as Michael Cole reads the email that announces that there is a team on RAW who is “worthy” of facing them for the WWE Tag Team Titles! This prompts Nexus leader and #1 Contender for the WWE Title, Wade Barrett, to come out and state that Bragging Rights is going to be the “greatest night” in the history of The Nexus as he will be “crowned” the WWE Champion before Barrett introduces one-half of the “new WWE Tag Team Champions” in Nexus member David Otunga! Barrett then makes the big announcement that Otunga’s partner is a Superstar he has “ordered” not to “fail” in winning the WWE Tag Team Titles as Barrett brings out none other than John Cena!

By order of the anonymous General Manager of RAW, Drew McIntyre & “Dashing” Cody Rhodes would then defend the WWE Tag Team Titles against Nexus members David Otunga and none other than John Cena, who was “ordered” by Wade Barrett to win the WWE Tag Team Titles! In the end, it was a shocking result as John Cena would lock in his STF on “Dashing” Cody Rhodes and would force Rhodes to tap out, meaning that John Cena & David Otunga are the new WWE Tag Team Champions; the first taste of gold that The Nexus has gotten since it’s beginning! After the match, David Otunga would celebrate with both tag title belts before handing one to John Cena and, with his orders to win the WWE Tag Team Titles fulfilled, Cena was free, albeit for a moment, as the new WWE Tag Team Champion would deliver the Attitude Adjustment to David Otunga! John Cena has brought gold into The Nexus, but how long can Cena continue taking orders from Wade Barrett? Will John Cena be directly responsible for Wade Barrett winning the WWE Title from Randy Orton?

Three weeks after having his Million Dollar Title taken away from him, “The Fortunate Son” Ted DiBiase, with Maryse in his corner, would go one-on-one with “The Bizarre One” Goldust, with his fiancé Aksana in his corner! In the end, it was Maryse and Aksana fighting on the outside and Maryse causing a distraction by throwing Aksana into the ring, which would distract Goldust and allow Ted DiBiase to hit a DDT en route to picking up the win! After the match, Maryse would start to bring the Million Dollar Title to Ted DiBiase, but Aksana would tackle Maryse and attack the Diva before grabbing the Million Dollar Title! Aksana would then come face-to-face with Ted DiBiase and would flirt with DiBiase long enough for Goldust to come from behind and lay DiBiase out with the Final Cut before walking off with the Million Dollar Title!

Then it was time for the Divas Title to be defended as the self-proclaimed “co-Divas Champion” Layla, with Michelle McCool in her corner, would defend the Divas Title against Natalya! In the end, it was Michelle McCool delivering a vicious kick to the head of Natalya behind the back of the referee that would allow Layla to pick up the win to retain the Divas Title!

Then it was time for a rare and sinister match for the World Heavyweight Championship as Kane would defend the World Heavyweight Title against his brother, The Undertaker, in the first Buried Alive Match in seven years as Kane or The Undertaker would be looking to bury their brother alive and win the World Heavyweight Title in the process! During the match, The Undertaker was able to lock Hell’s Gate on Kane, leading to Kane being rendered unconscious, allowing The Undertaker to put Kane in the grave, but as The Undertaker looked to put Paul Bearer in the grave as well when The Nexus; Wade Barrett, David Otunga, Heath Slater, & Justin Gabriel would attack The Undertaker while Kane escaped the grave as The Nexus would ultimately put The Undertaker in the grave, leading to Kane dumping dirt on his brother to win the match and bury The Undertaker alive, but, after Kane headed backstage, The Undertaker’s signature symbol would shine on the tombstone placed on the grave site as the lights dimmed and The Undertaker’s ominous music plays! Has The Undertaker really been buried alive or has this symbolized that The Undertaker lives?

Then it was to determine bragging rights as “Mr. Money-in-the-Bank” The Miz would lead Team RAW; R-Truth, John Morrison, Santino Marella, Sheamus, CM Punk, & Ezekiel Jackson against “The World’s Largest Athlete” Big Show, who would lead Team SmackDown; Rey Mysterio, Jack Swagger, Alberto Del Rio, Edge, & Kofi Kingston as the two brands would collide in a 7-on-7 Bragging Rights Elimination Tag Match! To little surprise, Team RAW member Santino Marella was the first eliminated as Tyler Reks would hit the Reks Factor en route to eliminating Santino and leaving the odds 7-6 in SmackDown’s favor! The next elimination would even things out for RAW as Sheamus would hit the High Cross on Kofi Kingston en route to eliminating Kofi! During the match, returning personal problems would cost Team SmackDown as a confrontation between Rey Mysterio and Alberto Del Rio would lead to Alberto Del Rio throwing his own teammate, Rey Mysterio, shoulder-first into the barricade, leading to Rey Mysterio being helped to the backstage, taking Rey out of the match! The next elimination would come after John Morrison hits Starship Pain on Jack Swagger to eliminate Swagger! Tyler Reks would be the next to go as Reks would knock John Morrison off of the ring apron, allowing Sheamus to take advantage by hitting the Brogue Kick on Reks en route to eliminating Reks! This would spark a brawl between Big Show and Sheamus that would escalate after Sheamus knocked down the mascot of Team SmackDown, Hornswoggle, on the outside, Big Show and Sheamus would then find themselves both counted out as the referee would reach his ten count mere seconds before Big Show could get out of the ring! With Team RAW up four Superstars to SmackDown’s two, Edge would bring the numbers closer to manageable as Edge would deliver the Spear to R-Truth to eliminate R-Truth and would follow it up with a Spear on John Morrison to eliminate Morrison as well! The next elimination would come from CM Punk as Punk would use a backslide to eliminate Alberto Del Rio! Following Del Rio’s elimination, Rey Mysterio would return and attack Del Rio before taking his spot back on the ring apron as Rey was never officially eliminated! Rey Mysterio would ultimately hit the 619 on CM Punk and follow it up with a splash en route to eliminating CM Punk, leaving the match even with two Superstars for both teams! Rey Mysterio would then follow that up by doing the same to Ezekiel Jackson to eliminate Jackson and leave SmackDown with a two-to-one advantage! With only The Miz left for Team RAW, Rey Mysterio would go for the 619, but The Miz’s “apprentice” Alex Riley would jump in and take the shot for The Miz, but Rey would ultimately tag Edge in and Edge would hit the Spear on The Miz en route to Edge pinning Miz and earning the Bragging Rights trophy for SmackDown for the second year in a row! How will RAW respond to SmackDown winning the Bragging Rights trophy again?

Then it was time for the main event as Randy Orton would defend the WWE Title against Nexus leader Wade Barrett, with The Nexus’ most reluctant member and one-half of the new WWE Tag Team Champions, John Cena, ordered to be in Barrett’s corner, but before the match gets underway, Wade Barrett grabs a microphone and informs John Cena that if Barrett does not win the match then he will fire John Cena that very night! During the match, the referee would get inadvertently get knocked down, which would lead to Wade Barrett ordering John Cena to get on the ring apron, but Randy Orton would shove Barrett into Cena, knocking Cena off of the apron! With the referee down, David Otunga, Heath Slater, & Justin Gabriel would rush out as The Nexus would commence a four-on-one assault on Randy Orton, but John Cena would enter the ring and would rid the ring of Otunga, Slater, & Gabriel to keep the recovering referee from seeing their involvement and costing Wade Barrett the match! In the end, it was Randy Orton setting up for the RKO on Wade Barrett when John Cena would come in and deliver the Attitude Adjustment to Wade Barrett, meaning that Barrett would technically win the match, via disqualification, but Orton would still be WWE Champion; ensuring that Cena kept his job, but also kept Barrett from winning the WWE Title from Orton! After the match, John Cena would grab the WWE Title belt and was set to hand it Randy Orton, but Orton would strike with the RKO, leaving Cena laid out; a fate which would also await Wade Barrett as Orton would lay Barrett out with the RKO! Despite technically following the orders of Wade Barrett, what awaits John Cena for costing Wade Barrett the WWE Title?

One night after a shocking and unforgettable WWE Bragging Rights that saw John Cena outsmarting Wade Barrett to keep the WWE Title with Randy Orton, as well as winning the WWE Tag Team Titles with David Otunga and one night after SmackDown defeated RAW for the second year in a row, earning SmackDown their second straight Bragging Rights trophy, RAW would be looking to rebound as the 909th edition of WWE Monday Night RAW came to you, live, from the Resch Center in Green Bay, WI. One night after their show-stealing opening bout at WWE Bragging Rights, the rematch would take place on RAW as RAW’s United States Champion Daniel Bryan would go one-on-one with SmackDown’s Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler in a Champion Vs. Champion! Also, a country music superstar would appear on RAW as legendary country singer Toby Keith would appear as the Guest Star of RAW!

Monday Night RAW (October 25, 2010)
Good Week For: The Nexus (despite some dissention early in the show, recovered by adding two members to the group)
Bad Week For: Randy Orton (lost his second match in two nights, via disqualification, and was put in an impossible situation at Survivor Series)

Detailed Results Follow…

One night after delivering the Attitude Adjustment to Wade Barrett to technically follow Barrett’s orders to ensure that Barrett won the match, the show kicks off with Wade Barrett & The Nexus; Heath Slater, Justin Gabriel, and the new WWE Tag Team Champions David Otunga & John Cena! Wade Barrett then introduces the “most dominant group in the history of the WWE”, The Nexus, before introducing himself, David Otunga, Heath Slater, Justin Gabriel, & John Cena! Barrett continues that, at Bragging Rights, The Nexus did the “unthinkable” when their actions resulted in the “burial” of The Undertaker in the Buried Alive Match for the World Heavyweight Title before Barrett states that they have their “reasons” for their actions against The Undertaker and it is “none” of the fan’s “business”! Barrett then states that he defeated WWE Champion Randy Orton at Bragging Rights before telling John Cena to tell everyone what happened and Cena complies by saying that Barrett was about to get “beat down” by Orton so he interfered and got Orton disqualified, meaning that Barrett won the match! Barrett responds that he was well on his way to winning the WWE Title when Cena decided to “inexplicably” enter the ring and put his hands on Barrett by delivering the Attitude Adjustment before saying that Cena had the “audacity” to hand the WWE Title to Randy Orton! Cena then reminds Barrett that Barrett ordered him to help Barrett “win” the match or be fired and he helped Barrett win, so he is not fired! Barrett responds by sarcasticly stating that it is “great” that Orton is the WWE Champion and that Cena is not fired! The anonymous General Manager of RAW then interrupts with an email that Michael Cole reads to announce that Wade Barrett is “entitled” to a rematch against Randy Orton for the WWE Title, but the rematch will have a Special Referee; a Special Referee that will be decided by the winner in the main event when WWE Champion Randy Orton goes one-on-one with any member of The Nexus; a challenge Nexus leader Wade Barrett jumps on by placing John Cena in the match! With that issue resolved, Nexus member and new WWE Tag Team Champion David Otunga brings up another issue of John Cena being “against” The Nexus at Bragging Rights despite them winning the WWE Tag Team Titles and states that he and Cena can not “co-exist” as WWE Tag Team Champions, which Barrett responds to by announcing that John Cena & David Otunga will defend the WWE Tag Team Titles against fellow Nexus members Heath Slater & Justin Gabriel! However, before the match begins, Wade Barrett states that one of The Nexus members will have to do the “right thing” for The Nexus by laying down and allowing Slater or Gabriel to pin the champion and Barrett orders David Otunga, not John Cena, to do it! Though reluctant to do so, David Otunga would lay down as instructed and allow Heath Slater to pin him to crown Heath Slater & Justin Gabriel as the new WWE Tag Team Champions! How will David Otunga respond to the embarrassment brought on to him by Wade Barrett?

SmackDown Consultant Vickie Guerrero would then make an appearance, with her NXT Rookie Diva Kaitlyn distantly in tow, and blames “shoddy officiating” by the WWE Referees for Dolph Ziggler’s loss to Daniel Bryan at Bragging Rights before introducing her boyfriend, Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler, who would go one-on-one with United States Champion Daniel Bryan in a Bragging Rights Champion Vs. Champion rematch with “The Straightedge Superstar” CM Punk as a guest on commentary! During the match, Daniel Bryan would lock in the LeBell Lock on Dolph Ziggler, but Vickie Guerrero would put Dolph’s foot under the bottom rope, but Dolph would still tap out and, with the referee not seeing Dolph’s foot, Daniel Bryan would be deemed the winner, much to the chagrin of Vickie Guerrero! How will Vickie Guerrero respond to the call by the referee?

Backstage, John Cena confronts Nexus leader Wade Barrett about being forced to hand over the WWE Tag Team Titles and states that he has been “trying for weeks” before saying that he is Barrett’s “errand boy”! Cena then says that regardless of getting fired or quitting, it “doesn’t matter”, because it “beats working” for Barrett, but Barrett stops Cena by saying that he has an “offer” that Cena “can’t refuse” that would benefit them both and he would announce it after Cena’s match with Randy Orton and Barrett tells Cena to focus on defeating Randy Orton because Barrett will be in Cena’s corner! What is the offer that Wade Barrett has for John Cena? What happens if John Cena is unable to defeat Randy Orton?

One night after Michelle McCool assisted Layla in retaining the Divas Title against Natalya t Bragging Rights, LayCool was in action on RAW as the self-proclaimed “co-Divas Champions” would face the team of Melina & Gail Kim! In the end, it was Michelle McCool delivering a vicious kick to the head of Melina en route to earning the win for LayCool! With the two-on-one tactics of LayCool, can any Diva in the WWE take the Divas Title from LayCool?

One night after leading Team RAW in, what was ultimately a losing effort, against Team SmackDown, “Mr. Money-in-the-Bank” The Miz, with his “apprentice” Alex Riley, made an appearance on RAW and states that no matter how “superior” he is to everyone in the crowd and everyone in the back, he is not a “miracle worker”! Miz continues that he lasted the “longest” in the Bragging Rights Elimination Tag Match and if the WWE Superstars had the “talent” he possesses on a “daily basis”, then the Bragging Rights trophy would belong to RAW! Miz continues that Team RAW should have consisted of “seven Miz’s” instead of “one Miz and six losers” before stating that he “blames” Team SmackDown and, more specifically, “blames” Rey Mysterio before challenging Rey to a match on RAW next week! RAW Diva Eve Torres then comes out and The Miz assumes Eve is out there to “apologize” on behalf of RAW before mocking Eve’s “hair extensions” and challenging Eve’s “taste in men” before calling Eve “sugar dumpling”! Eve responds by saying that she is not out there to “apologize” for anything before saying that Miz does not need to be “worried” about her hair or her “taste in men”, but Miz should be “worried” about everyone knowing that The Miz is “nothing but a fifteen-minute, flash in the pan, brainless, laughable, thick-headed, half-witted, uninspired, frog-faced loser” and Miz responds by telling the Green Bay fans that the Packers are not going to the Super Bowl before saying that he finds it “amusing” that the RAW locker room sent out a “Diva” to convey that message before saying that Eve should call him “awesome”, but before the words could come out of Miz’s mouth, Eve calls The Miz the “furthest thing from awesome that the WWE has ever seen” and calls Miz “ugly”! The Miz’s “apprentice” Alex Riley interrupts and tells Eve to “shut the front door” before saying that the reason that Team RAW is not out there because the Superstars on the team were “tip-toeing to the unemployment line” before telling Eve to go back to the dressing room and “find out” if anyone from Team RAW wants to take a “piece out of the captain”, which prompts Team RAW member R-Truth to come out and states that he wants a “piece of Mr. Kermit” before telling The Miz that he does not have a problem proving to The Miz that “the truth hurts”, which prompts the anonymous RAW General Manager to chime with an email that simply reads “ding, ding, ding”, signifying the impromptu match to begin!

In a match made by the anonymous RAW General Manager following a confrontation between the two Superstars, “Mr. Money-in-the-Bank” The Miz, with The Miz’s “apprentice” Alex Riley in his corner, would go one-on-one with R-Truth, with Eve Torres in his corner! During the match, Alex Riley would shove R-Truth into the ring apron on the outside behind the referee’s back, leading to Eve Torres coming around to the side of the ring and delivering a hard slap to the face of Alex Riley! In the end, it was R-Truth missing a Scissors Kick that would allow The Miz to take advantage by hitting the Skull Crushing Finale en route to picking up the win!

The Guest Star of RAW would then make an appearance on RAW as country music superstar Toby Keith appeared to serve as the Guest Ring Announcer for the match pitting “The Celtic Warrior” Sheamus against “The Master of The Cobra” Santino Marella, a match that Santino was reluctant to take part in until Toby Keith talked Santino into it! During the match, Santino Marella would find himself able to stand up long enough for Sheamus to manage to deliver the Brogue Kick, leading to John Morrison coming out and trying to convince Santino to just give up and Sheamus would set Santino in the corner and would be set to deliver the Brogue Kick that way, but Morrison would pull the ankle of Santino, making Santino fall and making Sheamus get caught up on the top turnbuckle, leading to Santino rolling up Sheamus and picking up a huge upset over a former WWE Champion! How will Sheamus respond to John Morrison being responsible for Sheamus losing to Santino Marella?

Backstage, Nexus member David Otunga confronts Nexus leader Wade Barrett and asks Barrett why he was “humiliated” before saying that Barrett could “not get the job done” at Bragging Rights, so Barrett is trying to take the “focus” off of himself and put it on Otunga before saying that he might feel “resentment” and he “might” tell everyone why they “really” attacked The Undertaker at Bragging Rights! Barrett responds by bringing in Husky Harris & Michael McGillicutty and revealing that, despite what happened last week, Harris & McGillicutty are now a part of The Nexus! Barrett then threatens that, with Harris & McGillicutty on board, they can “end” anyone’s career anytime they want before asking if Otunga is “with” Nexus or “against” them and, faced with the threat of having his career ended, Otunga states that he is with The Nexus! How will The Nexus change now that Husky Harris & Michael McGillicutty are part of the seemingly unstoppable group?

Then it was time for the main event as reluctant Nexus member John Cena, with Nexus leader Wade Barrett in his corner, would go one-on-one with WWE Champion Randy Orton in a match where, if Cena wins, then Barrett gets to choose the Special Referee for his WWE Title rematch against Randy Orton at Survivor Series in four weeks, but if Orton wins, then Orten selects the Special Referee for the rematch! During the match, Randy Orton would get taken to the outside and Wade Barrett was set to attack Orton, but John Cena would shove Barrett away from Orton, preventing a disqualification win for Orton and a second confrontation would take place between Cena and Barrett later in the match after Barrett pulls the bottom rope away from Orton while Orton was locked in Cena’s STF! In the end, it looked like Randy Orton was set to punt John Cena and put Cena out of action, but Wade Barrett would pull Cena out of the ring and intentionally clothesline Cena to earn Cena the disqualification win, meaning that Barrett gets to choose the referee for his WWE Title rematch! After the match, all hell broke loose as Randy Orton would attack Wade Barrett, which would prompt the rest of The Nexus, complete with newest members Husky Harris & Michael McGillicutty to rush and begin a five-on-one assault on Orton, but Cena would jump into the fray and fight off The Nexus, but Wade Barrett would order Cena to “stop” and would order the rest of The Nexus to get out of the ring before announcing that John Cena will be the Special Referee for his WWE Title rematch against Randy Orton at Survivor Series! Barrett promises that Cena will be “impartial” in the WWE Title match and Barrett assures Orton that Cena will be “impartial” to the point that if Barrett does not win the WWE Title, then Barrett will fire Cena “on the spot”, but Barrett would then reveal his “offer” to Cena and it was a blockbuster announcement as Barrett declares that, if he does win the WWE Title at Survivor Series, then Cena will be “relieved of any and all responsibilities that he has to The Nexus”! With the bottom line being that John Cena, as the Special Referee in the match, must find a way to allow Wade Barrett to win the WWE Title so that he could earn his freedom from The Nexus, for if he fails to do so, then Wade Barrett will fire John Cena from the entire WWE! Will John Cena screw Randy Orton out of the WWE Title to keep his job and be freed from The Nexus or will John Cena accept being fired over having to be directly responsible for taking the WWE Title away from Randy Orton?

One week before the second elimination of NXT Season Three takes place, the eighth week of NXT Season Three came to you from the Bradley Center in Milwaukee, WI. Just one week before the second elimination narrows the Rookie Divas down to four, A.J., Naomi, Aksana, Maxine, & Kaitlyn would be looking to impress the WWE fans and the WWE Pros into keeping them in the NXT competition!

WWE NXT (October 26, 2010)
Good Week For: Goldust & Aksana (picked up the win in the main event with Aksana pinning Maryse for the win)
Bad Week For: Vickie Guerrero (saw her NXT Rookie Diva, Kaitlyn, dress up as her and got half-eaten Halloween candy spit on her by Kaitlyn)

Detailed Results Follow…

Five nights before Halloween, NXT kicks off with a Costume Contest as the five Rookie Divas would present their Halloween costumes and the WWE fans would decide the winner! With Aksana dressed as the devil, Maxine dressed as an “Ice Queen”, Naomi dressed as the Hamburger Helper Hand, A.J. dressed as a sexy Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle, and Kaitlyn dressed as her WWE Pro, Vickie Guerrero, the WWE fans deemed that Kaitlyn’s portrayal of her WWE Pro was the best Halloween costume!

Still in their Halloween costumes, two Rookie Divas would square off as the Hamburger Helper hand, Naomi, would go one-on-one with “The Ice Queen” Maxine! At the end of a hard-fought Rookie Diva battle that took place in and out of the ring, it was Naomi picking up the win over Maxine!

Backstage, an immigration officer confronts Goldust and his Rookie Diva and fiancé, Aksana, as the officer informs Goldust & Aksana that if the two of them are not married by next week, then he will have Aksana deported back to Lithuania! With the immigration officer setting the date for them, next week’s NXT will see Goldust and Aksana being married! What kind of wedding can we expect from Goldust and Aksana?

Then it was time for a WWE Pro to take on an NXT Rookie Diva as one of The Bella Twins, Brie Bella, would go one-on-one with NXT Rookie Diva A.J.! In the end, it was Brie’s twin sister, Nikki Bella, shocking everyone, but no one more than her sister, as Nikki would pull Brie out of the ring and, after hitting the Bella Face Plant, would pin A.J. herself for the win! What is behind this newfound aggression from Nikki Bella? How will Brie Bella react to her twin sister’s actions?

Then it was time for the second NXT Rookie Diva contest of the evening as A.J., Naomi, Aksana, Maxine, & Kaitlyn would compete in a Halloween Candy Eating Contest! In the end, it was Maxine stuffing her face the most to win the contest, but after the contest was over, Hornswoggle would emerge from under the ring and would assist A.J. in shoving Maxine down! After eating as much candy as she could possibly eat, Kaitlyn found herself getting choked on candy and, after a little help from Hornswoggle, Kaitlyn would dislodge the obstruction, but, unfortunately for Vickie Guerrero, Kaitlyn would spew her half-eaten candy all over Vickie! How will Vickie Guerrero respond to Kaitlyn accidentally spitting half-eaten Halloween candy on her? With the second elimination of NXT Season Three coming next week, who will be sent home and who will get one step closer to becoming WWE’s next breakout Diva?

Then it was time for the main event as, two nights after Ted DiBiase defeated Goldust in one-on-one action at Bragging Rights only for Aksana to get involved, allowing Goldust to hit the Final Cut on DiBiase post-match, allowing “The Bizarre One” to keep a hold of the Million Dollar Title, “The Bizarre One” Goldust would team with his NXT Rookie Diva and bride-to-be, Aksana, to face “The Fortunate Son” Ted DiBiase and former Divas Champion Maryse in a Mixed Tag Match! In the end, it looked like Maryse was set to pick up the win for herself and Ted DiBiase, but Maryse would get a bit too overconfident and would find herself caught in an inside cradle by Aksana, allowing Aksana to pin the former Divas Champion for the win! After the match, Maryse would get the Million Dollar Title, but Aksana would deliver a slap to Maryse, allowing Aksana to make off with the Million Dollar Title as Goldust sent DiBiase packing over the top rope to the outside! Will Ted DiBiase & Maryse ever be able to get the Million Dollar Title back from Goldust & Aksana? What will happen next week when Goldust & Aksana go from being a WWE Pro and NXT Rookie Diva to husband and wife?

The 80th edition of WWE Superstars came to you from the Resch Center in Green Bay, WI and from the Bradley Center in Milwaukee, WI. Four nights after being a part of the ultimately victorious Team SmackDown at Bragging Rights, the unpredictable powerhouse Tyler Reks would make his Superstars debut as Reks would go one-on-one with “The Masterpiece” Chris Masters!

WWE Superstars (October 28, 2010)
Good Week For: Tyler Reks (picked up an impressive win over Chris Masters in his Superstars debut)
Bad Week For: Tyson Kidd (was inadvertently cost his match by David Hart Smith)

Detailed Results Follow…

The show kicks off with “The World’s Strongest Man” Mark Henry as Henry would go one-on-one with Jey Uso, with Jimmy Uso and Tamina at ringside! Jey Uso would pull out all the stops, even having Jimmy Uso deliver a kick to the head of Mark Henry, but neither Jey or Jimmy Uso could deal with the strength of Mark Henry as Henry would take everything Jey could throw at him and would ultimately plant Jey Uso with the World’s Strongest Slam en route to picking up the win!

With some severe dissention in The Hart Dynasty, Tyson Kidd, without Natalya & David Hart Smith, would go one-on-one with “The Long Island Iced Z” Zack Ryder! During the match, Tyson Kidd would get knocked to the outside, which would prompt David Hart Smith to come out and try to have a “talk” with Kidd with the match still going on! Natalya would come down to try and resolve the situation, but the distraction would still be enough for Zack Ryder to take advantage by hitting the Rough Rider leg lariat en route to picking up the win! How will Tyson Kidd respond to David Hart Smith inadvertently costing him the match?

Five nights after burying his brother, The Undertaker, alive at Bragging Rights, the show kicks off with World Heavyweight Champion Kane as Kane states that the “saga is over” as he has “proven” his “dominance” over The Undertaker for “the final time” and that The Undertaker is “never coming back”, because he “buried” him! Kane then proclaims that The Undertaker is “gone” because of “one person and one person only”, himself before saying that he wants all of the fans to “thank” him for “removing the false hope” that The Undertaker brought to the fans’ “meaningless lives”! Kane continues that the fans are “clinging” to the hope that The Undertaker will return, but that it is “never going to happen” because The Undertaker is “six feet underground”! Kane then proclaims that he is the fans’ new “patriarch” and that he is “the devil’s favorite demon” before demanding that the fans “stand up” and “bow” their heads to observe a “moment of silence” for the man who they will “never see again”; his “fallen and soon to be forever forgotten brother”! The “moment of silence” is then interrupted by the arrival of Alberto Del Rio as Del Rio says that it is a “tragedy” that he has never gotten an opportunity at the World Heavyweight Champion and the only “funeral” they are going to have is going to be for the World Heavyweight Title! This would lead to a bizarre chain of events as, while an enraged Kane would shouted at him, Alberto Del Rio would knock the legendary urn out of the hands of Kane’s father, Paul Bearer, as Del Rio would proceed to get the better of Kane and stomp away at the World Heavyweight Champion until Rey Mysterio would rush out and attack Del Rio, sending Del Rio packing before Rey would deliver the 619 to Paul Bearer! Kane would then deliver a boot to the face of Rey Mysterio, sending Rey to the floor as Edge would come out and deliver the Spear to Kane to leave Edge the last Superstar standing in the ring! What will become of this battle between Edge, Rey Mysterio, Alberto Del Rio, and World Heavyweight Champion Kane?

After two impressive and hard-fought wars at Bragging Rights on RAW, where Daniel Bryan made Dolph Ziggler tap out two nights in a row, the opening match of SmackDown would see United States Champion Daniel Bryan going one-on-one with Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler in a Champion Vs. Champion match! During the chaotic match, the referee would get inadvertently knocked down, followed by Dolph Ziggler hitting the Zig Zag on Daniel Bryan and, with the referee down, Dolph’s girlfriend and SmackDown Consultant Vickie Guerrero would enter the ring and count the three for Dolph! Thinking that her three count counted for the win, Vickie would raise the hand of her boyfriend, but the referee would inform Vickie and Dolph that Vickie’s three count did not count and that the match is still in progress! With all this going on, Daniel Bryan would be given enough time to recover and would land a vicious kick to the head of Dolph Ziggler en route to picking up his third win over Dolph!

It was then revealed that, a result of the activity earlier in the show, the main event of SmackDown would be a Triple Threat #1 Contender’s match as “The Rated-R Superstar” Edge, Alberto Del Rio, & “The SmackDown Icon” Rey Mysterio would face off in a Triple Threat Match with the winner being named the new #1 Contender for the World Heavyweight Title!

Backstage, “Dashing” Cody Rhodes is confronted by Big Show after Rhodes hogs the mirror Kelly Kelly was using and insulted the Diva and Big Show challenges Rhodes to a match, but Rhodes responds by saying that he is not “scared” of Big Show, but he is part of a tag team and Big Show is not, so they can’t have a match, but after Big Show assures Rhodes that he can find a partner because people “like” him, Rhodes accepts the challenge! After getting himself, as well as his tag team partner, Drew McIntyre, into a tag match against Big Show, who will Drew McIntyre & “Dashing” Cody Rhodes face in addition to Big Show?

With his Swagger Soaring Eagle in tow, “The All-American American” Jack Swagger was in action on SmackDown as Swagger would go one-on-one with “The World Warrior” Kaval! In the end, it was Jack Swagger locking in the ankle lock on Kaval, forcing Kaval to tap out en route to picking up the win!

With Hornswoggle, who is dressed as “Woody” from Toy Story, the SmackDown General Manager Theodore Long would present the Divas Halloween Contest as Long would introduce The Bella Twins, who were dressed as Batman & Robin, Alicia Fox as Cleopatra, Kelly Kelly as Little Bo Peep, Rosa Mendes as the “Lucky Leprechaun”, Melina as Spider-Woman, & LayCool as Layla was dressed as Beyonce and Michelle McCool was dressed as Lady Gaga! Before the contest, LayCool would name themselves the winners and, after a confrontation with Melina, Theodore Long would step in and announce that, instead of naming a winner, the eight Divas will compete in an 8-Diva Tag Match as the self-proclaimed “co-Divas Champions” LayCool, Rosa Mendes, & Alicia Fox would face Melina, Kelly Kelly, & The Bella Twins! In the end, it was Kelly Kelly hitting the K2 on Rosa Mendes to pick up the win for her team!

Before facing off with Big Show and Show’s partner, Drew McIntyre & “Dashing” Cody Rhodes have some words for the new WWE Tag Team Champion, The Nexus’ Heath Slater & Justin Gabriel, as McIntyre calls the new champions “pathetic” for the way they won the titles and vows that they are “taking” the WWE Tag Team Titles back! “Dashing” Cody Rhodes then advises The Nexus to “watch” what they do to Big Show and his mystery partner before dubbing himself and Drew McIntyre, “The Dashing Ones”!

After vowing to regain the WWE Tag Team Titles from The Nexus’ Heath Slater & Justin Gabriel, former WWE Tag Team Champions Drew McIntyre & “Dashing” Cody Rhodes, now known as The Dashing Ones, would face “The World’s Largest Athlete” Big Show and his mystery partner, who would be revealed to be Kofi Kingston! In the end, it was Big Show hoisting “Dashing” Cody Rhodes up for a chokeslam and, after Drew McIntyre ignored Rhodes’ pleas for help, Rhodes would find himself planted with a chokeslam by Big Show en route to Big Show & Kofi Kingston picking up the win!

Backstage, after Drew McIntyre left his partner, “Dashing” Cody Rhodes, high and dry, Rhodes confronts McIntyre and tells his partner that McIntyre is in his “way” and the only way he can a singles championship is without McIntyre, leading to an argument between the two that would end with Rhodes stating that The Dashing Ones are done! What awaits these two capable SmackDown Superstars now that their team is no more?

Then it was time for the main event as two former World Champions and hungry young Superstars would compete in a Triple Threat Match as “The Rated-R Superstar” Edge, Alberto Del Rio, & “The SmackDown Icon” Rey Mysterio would battle with the winner becoming the new #1 Contender to Kane’s World Heavyweight Title! In the end, it was Alberto Del Rio having Rey Mysterio hoisted on his shoulders that would provide the perfect opportunity for Edge to hit Alberto Del Rio with the Spear en route to becoming the new #1 Contender for the World Heavyweight Title! Can Edge become a ten time World Champion at Survivor Series or will the dominance and pure evil of Kane lead to Kane retaining the World Heavyweight Title?
