Bryan Alvarez of F4Wonline.com reports that WWE wants Shawn Michaels to appear at Wrestlemania 27 as a special guest referee in The Undertaker’s match. The storyline idea would be that Michaels would have a chance for revenge by screwing over Undertaker. Of course, this all depends on if Michaels is interested and if Undertaker is recovered enough from surgery.
According to Alvarez, it’s likely that WWE originally wanted Brock Lesnar to be in the special referee role.
