Wow, it’s been a while since I wrote that little two word intro… Yes folks, those that care or remember, The Live Wire is back for a WrestleMania special! Some of you may even still be reading – as such, I claim the moral victory. A lot has happened since I put the keyboard away on a regular basis… names have risen to the top of the wrestling world, names have fallen from grace, and a few have gone to the great Squared Circle in the sky…

In the land of the small, the big figure is king. In this case, King Booker to be exact. Yes, yes I know, technically speaking this figure predates the King Booker gimmick, but still, that’s a clever opening line. I think so anyway…
OK, well you probably know by now, if you’ve read some of my older columns, and I mean OLD, that I’m a bit of a WWE obsessive, right down to collecting the figures. We’re talking right from the Hasbro era up to the Real Scan delights of recent years. Well, I dropped out for a while, but now I may just be tempted back. The kind folks at Vivid have sent me one of their new Deluxe Aggression range to have a look at, and I must say, it’s pretty damn good…

TLW: The End
Well, hello. This is probably one of the hardest intro paragraphs I’ve had to write, yet it’s conversely one of the easiest. “Why”, I hear the assembled 30 odd people who still care cry… or at least think inwardly…
Well that WAS Judgment Day, and for some it probably was a final judgment on them – if they couldn’t make it on to this card, why are they still hanging around the WWE? As I said, it wasn’t an awe-inspiring card, and the actual matches themselves could do nothing other than be better than they looked on paper… and for the best part, that’s how they turned out…
Well, hello. Word of warning folks – I can’t be bothered with this PPV, this column, or pretty much anything to be honest… don’t expect positive happy-happy joy-joy thoughts to be overflowing this cup. With that in mind, let’s get it out of the way…
