The one time of the month where I can make a fool of myself…wait, you mean I do that every week? well, I’ll be DAMNED! Anyway, Faarooq impressions aside, there are some matches to be prdictamated – so let’s get it on!

The Casual Wrestling Fans
Alloha, Simon here again with another helping of wrestling discussion cake for you all. This time round I’m coming off the back of what can only be described as a very silly couple of weeks of wrestling TV, and another test on how far the wrestling fans stupidity can be stretched… which made me think… is it time for wrestling to mature again?
Well, hello. Welcome once more to The Live Wire, the column that’s too dumb to realise when it’s outstayed it’s welcome, and is actually sitting in front of your TV right now. Oh yes. And it’s a comfy chair, may I say…
TLW: Brutal
Well, hello. Welcome once more to The Live Wire – the home of the only column that has an intro like this! Granted every other column is damned proud of that, but hey, whatcha gonna do?
Well, hello. Welcome to this week’s edition of The Live Wire, this week fighting of a dose of the common cold by drinking whisky – a 10 year old Balvenie and a 12 year old Glenfiddich to be exact – so you’ll excuse me if I make less sense than usual as the whisky hit kicks in…
Well, hello. It’s Monday, I need a drink and I could do with a shave – it must be the day after a PPV! The PPV in question would be SummerSlam, and as disappointing as my predictions were – I came to terms with my ineptitude a long time ago – the show itself wasn’t too bad. I only wish the same could be said about Heat – 55 minutes of video packages and hype, and then TWO minutes for a Cruiserweight Title match between Rey Mysterio and Shannon Moore? Why even bother? Even Matt Hardy’s victory speech lasted longer… but I digress. Let’s take a look back at last night’s show.
The 2003 PWI 500 – Wrong Again!
So, the Pro Wrestling Illustrated annual list of the top 500 wrestlers in the world rears it’s ugly head again. Forgive me for wondering just how the hell they came up with the results though. Surprisingly, the list for 2002/2003 is almost as bad as the last one. How is that possible you ask? Read on and find out…
Well, hello. And welcome to the first post holiday edition of The Live Wire. Is it good to be back? Hello no! I could still be drinking Guinness in Dublin right now! Damn holidays for having to end! Damn them to hell and back! But on a calmer note, I did catch up with most of the wrestling bits and bobs that I missed, and it turns out I didn’t miss much at all. Ho hum. But, with this being the PPV weekend of the month, you know what that means – it’s PREDICTION TIME!!!
WWE Vs. TNA
Well, it happened. After being able to watch 4 NWA-TNA shows, I’ve finally seen the alternative to the WWE that everyone has been talking about. And what can I say… I’d forgotten what it was like to enjoy watching a wrestling show. So this time round I’m looking at the alternative to the WWE, NWA-TNA. If you’re a TNA sceptic, I urge you to read on…
Not long now. Just a few short months. Justice will be done. Yes, Kane will be packing his bags and leaving the WWE within 12 months. That’s right peons, I said twelve months.
