IWF CHAMPIONSHIP
‘BAD BOY’ JED MASTERS v JORDAN WRIGHT

IWF Champion Masters (Who earlier in this year scored a pinfall victory over BG James), defended against Wright in May when the popular Jordan was the winner of a random draw, however, that match ended in a no-contest following Lee Kyle’s unwanted interference. Jed then promised Jordan a one on one rematch at the 7th Anniversary Show.

The two then had a falling out when miscommunication meant that they were eliminated from June’s ‘Northumberland Tag Team Classic’ tournament. However, the pair made up and IWF fans can expect a clean contest between arguably the IWF’s two most popular wrestlers. Do not be fooled though, the ‘Bad Boy’ has proven that he will do anything to hold on to his title and Jordan will be in for the match of his life if he is to fulfil his dream of becoming IWF Champion.

NORTH EAST’S FINEST ARE COMING
WHITTON – RICHIE – KIRBY – ROBINSON

Last week, we received an email from ‘Simply The Best’ Chris Whitton, the spokesman of the ‘North East’s Finest’ group. We have attempted to remove the bad language from the message in an attempt to make it fit to publish, however, such was the extent of this filth, this proved impossible. Instead, we have summed up the contents of the email:

* Whitton confirmed that himself, Kid Richie and Martin Kirby will be at Hedworthfield CA, Jarrow on 15th Sept for the IWF 5th Anniversary Show.

* Whitton also stated that Iain Robinson will also be in Jarrow, meaning at least 4 members of North East’s finest will be on the premises that night.

* Whitton will issue further demands on the night, if these demands are not met, his group will be fully prepared to ruin the show.

* NEF members will be in attendance at IWF shows throughout the year.

* In the most shocking announcement, Whitton has claimed that a member of the IWF roster will reveal himself to be a member of NEF on 15th Sept.

HAIR v HAIR
TIM PERVITO v LEWIS ‘THE DRAGON’ BEARDSLEY

One of these men will emerge from the 7th Anniversary Show completely bald as they compete in a match in which the loser will get his head shaved. The veteran Pervito will be the hot favourite to win this one, as Beardsley will be forced to step up his game just to compete.

Beardsley voluntarily gave up the Junior Academy Championship earlier this year as he attempted to step up his career and prove himself against more experienced wrestlers. Unfortunately, he has not found this easy, and has lost every match since. He has, though, shown a lot of improvement and must hope that he has learned enough to beat Pervito on Saturday. Tim has been almost bullying the Dragon as of late and must be confident that his huge size and experience advantage will be enough to secure him victory.

IWF NORTHEAST CHAMPIONSHIP
LEE KYLE v HARRY PAIN v JIMMY BLADE

Since beating Jordan Wright in May, Kyle has been far from a fighting Champion, going out of his way not to defend the title, and in his only defence to date, purposely got himself disqualified. No such luck for Kyle this Saturday as he is forced to defend against two recent returnees to the IWF.

The 280lb Blade is a former IWF Champion who recently returned following a year out and has looked in fine form and Pain is a former IWF Tag Team Champion and spectacular high flyer, perhaps best known as the tag team partner of ‘The Man That Gravity Forgot’ PAC.

ASSASSIN RETURNS

Assassin, the former 2-time IWF Champion will be on hand, as the man regarded as the top wrestler in IWF history has been called upon to ward of the threat of North East’s Finest. It is not known whether or not he will be involved in a match, but Whitton and his group should be warned that should they cause any trouble they will have Assassin to deal with.

WINNER GETS THE FLAT
‘J-BIRD’ JOEY WRIGHT v ‘BIG MO’ BILLY MORRISON

These two former best friends fell out in May, after Wright blamed Morrison for costing him a match against Lee Kyle, since that time the relationship has soured further, to a point that the pair are no longer able to share a flat together and have agreed that the loser of this match will move out.

Further spice to this match was added when Billy’s ‘wag’ Lexx chose to side with ‘J-Bird’, however, Lexx will be in the USA competing at PWU’s Anniversary Show, meaning that Billy and Joey will be able to focus fully on winning the match and keeping a roof over their respective heads.

IWF TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP
ROBBIE RYDER & MYSTERY PARTNER v TEAM WITH NO NAME

Sad news this week, as a leg injury forced IWF Tag Team Champion and partner of Robbie Ryder, ‘Charva MC’ Pauly C to retire. However the show must go on, and Ryder has been asked to find a new partner for Saturday.

The makeshift team could not have asked for a more difficult task as the ‘Team With No Name’ (Flower Child and ‘Twisted Messiah’ Adam Christ) have chosen to invoke their rematch clause having lost the titles in Pauly’s hometown of Cramlington in July.
