Paul Birchall answers Iceman’s Challenge…
Iceman issued a challenge to all wrestlers across the world to challenge him for the wZw Xtreme Title, in any sort of Xtreme match up of their choice. The FWA’s Paul Birchall, a rising star in the wrestling world accepted the challenge and will meet Iceman in a Classic Hardcore Match on the evening show (28th February at The Lakes Court Hotel in Carlisle).
Shady Nattrass out of Action for 6 weeks.
wZw Inter-Promotional Title holder and wrestler Shady Nattrass has been side lined after a suffering crucial ligament damage while playing football. Shady was supposed to be one of the main wrestlers on the wZw Border Break Out Tour this coming weekend. As he was supposed to be defending his title on Friday night at the Loreburn Hall, Dumfries in match against the FWA’s Aviv Mayen, Commissioner Gary Graham has decided that in the interest of fairness Shady should vacate the title and decided that wZw mat technician, man of 1001 holds and 1002 counters Tony Warrior “The Spitfire” will go up against Aviv Mayen in an Old School best out of 5 falls. If a wrestler receives 3 public warnings a pin fall will automatically go over to the opponent.
“Flying” Phil Powers added to the wZw Border Breakout Tour
UK Indy wrestler Phil Powers will be appearing on the tour, with Shady Nattrass being out of action we thought we should bring in a replacement for the tour. Phil Powers is one of the most experienced wrestlers in the UK today. Phil who is currently a main worker with the All – Star promotion will be making his wZw debut on the Saturday shows in Carlisle at the Lakes Court Hotel.
