Press Release:

  • Whitley Bay Residents Association – Friday 27th August 2004
Whitley Bay Residents Association, Hill Heads Road, Whitley Bay, Tyne and Wear
  • Coartham Memorial hall, Redcar – Saturday 28th August 2004
  • The Starlight Suite, Cramlington – Sunday 29th August 2004

As the summer is coming to an end, and the temperatures are starting to fall outside, wZw plan to make this a long hot summer with 3 back to back shows featuring all your favourite wZw stars.

After 2 previous sell out shows, we are returning to the place we like to call home, Whitley Bay. No matches are booked as of yet. Tony Warrior “Spitfire” has been shouting his mouth off, saying Iceman (Current wZw Heavyweight and extreme Champion) is nothing more than an embarrassment to wZw after heading off to Germany and working for wXw in what can only be described as the most brutal match Europe has ever seen. (Fan Bring Weapons, including tacks, bats, light tubes, bulbs, barbed wire etc.) Spitfire a man of technical and old school values thinks that even hardcore wrestling should have limits and those sorts of matches are not befitting a Heavy Weight Champion, We wait and see what the Iceman’s response to these comments.

Also booked to appear are the new mighty tag team of Taylor and Carbon. These two wrestlers have made a massive impact on the Nu Breed Exhibitions and are ready to take on anyone in their debut as a tag team for wZw.

Fan Favourites Stevie Lynn & Full Pack are due to be in action on all three shows and sure to delight and thrill the ladies in the crowds.

General Trent Steel has gone very quiet and distanced since his title loss to Iceman, who will the big man face and is the Iceman safe from attack. Two questions the fans are going to be asking.

Domino is currently away working with All Star Wrestling; will he be back in time for the shows?

Other names scheduled to appear and J Nattrass, Highlander, Juvenile, Shady Nattrass, “The 7ft Monster” Tron, Anthony “Livewire” McIntyre, Bomber Mills, Ritchie Saint and Many More…

Rumours that there might be some surprise additions to the cards could soon be reality, just a case of looking out for future press releases from wZw.

The Coartham Memorial Hall show is an external booking for wZw, what this means to the fans, is that the same great wZw names will be booked for another company running the shows promotion and booking. I don’t have much information on this match

Then on the final night we return to Cramlington, to the Starlight Suite. There is one match booked for this show so far, that is there will be a 6 man crazy table elimination match for the new wZw Cruiser Division Title. Names entered for this match Shady Nattrass (Title Holder), Carbon, Stevie Lynn, Taylor, Juvenile and Anthony ‘Livewire’McIntrye. Tag Team full pack have made a challenge to the BCW tag team T2K (Darkside and Wolfgang) as they feel they were robbed in Scotland in their ladder match and want some retribution on the BCW team. Other matches to be announced nearer the time.
