Plus Kanemaru placed his GHC Jr title on the line against the undefeated Low Ki… Could he after vanquishing Liger take out the former Zero1 Jr, ROH World and NWA tag champion?

1. Kishin Kawabata beat Haruka Eigen (6:08) with a horizontal cradle.
2. Takuma Sano & Jun Izumida beat Mohammed Yone & Trevor Rhodes (20:55) when Izumida used the Mukado Domu on Rhodes.
3. Tamon Honda, KENTA, Tsuyoshi Kikuchi & Kotaro Suzuki beat Daisuke Ikeda, Takashi Sugiura, Mitsuo Momota & Ricky Marvin (4:29) when Kikuchi used a cradle on Momota.
4. Takeshi Rikio & Makoto Hashi beat Jun Akiyama & Go Shiosaki (17:16) when Rikio used a powerbomb on Shiosaki.
5. Minoru Suzuki beat Naomichi Marufuji (17:18) by referee stop.
6. GHC Jr. Heavyweight Title: Yoshinobu Kanemaru (c) beat Low Ki (22:15) with a revolution-style brainbuster (1st defense).
7. GHC Tag Team Title: Mitsuharu Misawa & Yoshinari Ogawa (c) beat Akitoshi Saito & Masao Inoue (30:44) when Ogawa used a backdrop hold on Inoue (5th defense).
8. GHC Heavyweight Title: Kenta Kobashi (c) beat Akira Taue (28:05) with a wrist-clutch Burning Hammer (10th defense).
Well Kanemaru’s trusty spinning Brainbuster that put away Liger did the trick for the American junior too as he retained and Kobashi decided to pull out a new move to finish Taue… A wrist clutch Burning Hammer! Thats 10 defenses now and he has held the gold for a whole 18 months taking out Misawa, Akiyama, Takayama, Taue, Nagata, Chono, Ogawa and others… Who can take Kobashi down?
Also on the card the ‘Untouchables’ of Ogawa and Misawa took out the ‘Dark Agent’ team of Saito and Inoue when after 30 or so minutes of hard hitting action Ogawa used his trusty Backdrop hold to take the duke and complete a 5th successful defense for his team. MiSuzuki of Pancrase and half of the IWGP champions took on Marufuji the Jr Heavyweight star and beat him when the referee called for the bell and ordered the match over for Marufuji’s safety… I haven’t got the reason but I presume at the mo that it was Suzuki’s lethal choke sleeper…
Also after the third match SUWA of Toruymon fame and the master of the John Woo and FFF came out and left with Marvin forming a new team that I presume will operate in NOAH…
