Alright results just in for the Sumo Hall show that NJPW was running today…

Tokyo Ryogoku Kokugikan
1. Young Lion Special Match: Naofumi Yamamoto beat Yujiro (9:21) with a crab hold.
2. Young Lion Special Match: Hirooki Goto & Akiya Anzawa beat Ryusuke Taguchi & Hiroshi Nagao (9:21) when Goto used a cross armbreaker on Nagao.
3. Masayuki Naruse beat Katsuhiko Nakajima (6:03) with the Crazy Cyclone.
4. Tomoaki Honma beat Toru Yano (10:10) with a Turmeric clutch.
5. Jushin Thunder Liger, Katsushi Takemura & Dick Togo beat Tiger Mask, Ultimo Dragon & Taiji Ishimori (12:43) when Liger used a brainbuster on Dragon.
6. Minoru Suzuki beat Manabu Nakanishi (9:01) with a cradle.
7. IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Tag Team Title: Jado & Gedo (c) beat Koji Kanemoto & Minoru Tanaka (11:44) when Gedo used a Superfly splash on Kanemoto (3rd defense).
8. Katsuyori Shibata beat Genichiro Tenryu (4:45) by DQ.
9. Hiroshi Tanahashi & Shinsuke Nakamura beat Keiji Muto & Osamu Nishimura (21:25) when Tanahashi used an inside cradle on Nishimura.
10. Lumberjack Death Match: Masahiro Chono & Don Frye beat Hiroyoshi Tenzan & Yuji Nagata (22:43) when Chono used a Shining Yakuza kick on Nagata.
11. IWGP Heavyweight Title: Kensuke Sasaki beat Kazuyuki Fujita (c) (2:29) by pinfall to become the 39th champion.
Right some news items to go with the show too… Sasaki was caught in a sleeper by Fujita but countered into a pinning move that saw him win in 2:29 and equal the company record of 5 title wins which is currently held by Fujinami.
Nakanishi and Norton mugged Tenzan before the tag match and this left Nagata all alone. Battered and bloody Yoshie tried to aid his regualr army friend and Tenzan managed to eventually return. But all proved to much for Nagata and Chono put him down with a Shining Yakuza kick.
Kanemoto was also betrayed by Heat/Minoru Tanaka and he has gone darkside! Koji and Heat will meet soon and Koji will be looking to destroy him for his act of betrayal and his joining of CTU!
Also the Shibata and Tenryu match ended in a DQ when Tenryu broke a beer bottle over Shibata’s head and bust him open. Its not finished by a long run! (My question is, when is Tenryu really gonna put Shibata over?)
Plus Riki Choshu, who is currently a Zero-1 contract wrestler, returned home in an invasion and addressed the crowd. Nagata and Liger where both furious with this and Nagata confronted him.
And before the show a typhoon hit Tokyo and some fans who ahd arrived early where being battered by wind and rain in extreme doses… NJPW opened the doors early and provided two special yound lion matches for them with Goto picking up a win for the pro Shibata troops and Yamamoto taking out rookie Yujiro with a crab hold.
