Official word on Hulk Hogan in WWE hall of fame

The following is an excerpt from WWE’s press release regarding Hulk Hogan’s induction in the Hall Of Fame:


“STAMFORD, Conn.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–March 2, 2005–Hulk Hogan, one of the most popular WWE Superstars of all time, will be among the legends inducted into the WWE® Hall of Fame on Saturday night, April 2, 2005. Hogan will join the previously announced inductees “Mr. Wonderful” Paul Orndorff, The Iron Sheik, Nikolai Volkoff, “Cowboy” Bob Orton, “The Mouth of the South” Jimmy Hart and “Rowdy” Roddy Piper.


The Universal Amphitheatre in Los Angeles will be the site of the induction ceremony. The WWE Hall of Fame Induction is an official WrestleMania® Week Event in Southern California; a capacity crowd from 14 countries and 48 states will be attending WrestleMania 21 on Sunday, April 3, at Staples Center in Los Angeles. Although tickets for WrestleMania 21 are no longer available, seats for the WWE Hall of Fame induction have been made available at Ticketmaster.com or by calling Ticketmaster at 213-480-3232.
