K-Star Wrestling in Walsall

Professional Wrestling heads to the town of Walsall this Saturday (19th March 2005) for a rip roaring show at the Yew Tree Sports & Social Club, Brackendale Drive, Yew Tree Estate, Walsall.

Among the grapplers on hand at the event will be Walsall’s own champion, Mad Dog Maxx, AKA Matt Powell of Tame Street East, Walsall. The young champion won his prestigious title in October 2003, and is now gearing up for an amazing 200th Championship defence!

Also on the bill will be West Midlanders such as Walsall’s ‘Giant’ Kade Callous, Great Barr’s Carl ‘Mizzery’ Brooks and “Wolf Man” Pete Young of Longbridge, Birmingham.

Also wrestling on the event will be the 55 Year old, JJ ‘Taffy’ Jenkins, aman who wrestled all over the U.K in British Wrestling’s hey-day on ITV’s ‘World of Sport’ against the likes of ‘Big Daddy’ and ‘Giant Haystacks’!

Jenkins is coming out of a 10-year retirement to go against a young wrestler all the way from Atlanta, Georgia in the USA (Sal Americana). Jenkins is fully aware of his vintage in years but cannot wait to get back in the ring, “I’ve never stopped loving the sport and have trained hard for my return!” says Jenkins on his amazing return to prominence!

Tickets Cost just £5:00 and doors will open at 7:00pm with bouts starting at 7:30pm!
