With the second WWE Diva Search beginning shortly, many are wondering if WWE plans to renew its contract with Christy Hemme. The redhaired diva was signed to a one-year, $250,000 deal after winning last year’s competition.
At this point, it definitely seems that Hemme will be offered a new contract, although it is not known if the new deal will be quite as lucrative. Generally, WWE got more than they bargained for with Hemme, who has gone above and beyond the requirements laid out in her very cushy contract. She also has a great rapport with the lockerroom.
Hemme also told this reporter in an interview last year that she would absolutely consider becoming a full-time WWE worker, so it’s doubtful she won’t express interest in continuing with WWE.
