In a press release on the organisations website, JAPW have announced that Bam Margera, of MTV Jackass fame, will be a part of the 8th Anniversary show in Atlantic City on October 22nd.
“Jersey All-Pro Wrestling (JAPW) is proud to officially announce Pro Skateboarder and TV & Film personality Bam Margera as it’s first special guest for their 8th Anniversary show to be held in the Grand Ballroom at Bally’s Hotel and Casino, Atlantic City, on Saturday, October 22nd, 2005.
Already regarded as a legend in the world of Skateboarding, Bam Margera is the creator, producer, director and star of the hit MTV’ show “Viva La Bam”, Now in it’s fourth season. The “Viva La Bam” DVD is the fastest selling DVD in the History of MTV. Bam is the creator and star of the “CKY (Camp Kill Yourself)”, video series and is also the co-creator and co-star of “Jackass” and “Jackass: The Movie”, which has grossed over $100 million dollars to date. In 2003, He wrote, directed and stared in the feature film “Haggard”.
Bam’s popularity lead to him being featured as a main character in Activision’s record-breaking “Tony Hawk” Video games series. Starting this fall, Margera will be the host of the 2-hour long weekly “Bam Radio” show on Sirius Satellite Radio.
Margera has been featured in several of the nation’s top publications,including Rolling Stone, People, ESPN the Magazine, Sports Illustrated, Details, Complex and Revolver. Bam also holds the appearance attendance record at the Mall of America as 22,000 fans came to see him in action.
Bam is known for “doing whatever He feels like” and he brings an air of unpredictability to this already exciting night of professional wrestling action.
A special meet and greet and Autograph signing with Bam will take place at from 5:30pm to 7pm before the JAPW Anniversary show for ticket holders of the event. ( There will be a fee for items signed)
Later that night, Bam will be a judge in the first ever Miss JAPW Bikini Competition, which will be filmed for our WORLD WIDE TV Audience.”
