Fresh off the success of its critically acclaimed inaugural event, A CRUEL TWIST OF FATE, 1PW is hard at work preparing for its huge weekend of shows at the Doncaster Dome in January 2006 because for 1PW there’s NO TURNING BACK.
The NO TURNING BACK weekend will include two huge events on the evening of Friday January 6th ( at 7pm ) and Saturday January 7th ( at 7pm ) , in addition to a vastly expanded and improved 1PW Fan Slam, that will feature Q & A sessions with the 1PW stars, along with picture and autograph opportunities.
Huge names already added to the roster include former ECW World champion MASATO TANAKA, ROH/TNA star SAMOA JOE, former World Tag Team champion CHARLIE HAAS, former TNA Tag and X Division champion “The Fallen Angel” CHRISTOPHER DANIELS and the
“Homicidal, Suicidal, Genocidal Maniac” himself, SABU!
More exciting signings and new names will be announced over the coming weeks.
In addition, we can already announce the names of several people returning including “The Phenomenal One” AJ STYLES, “The Monster” ABYSS, STERLING JAMES KEENAN, “The Anarchist” DOUG WILLIAMS and AWA World champion STEVE CORINO.
Also, just today 1PW signed the menacing and ultra tough LOW KI to compete at No Turning Back.
Also returning are TRACY SMOTHERS and the BLUE MEANIE, who have unfinished business after A CRUEL TWIST OF FATE. 1PW officials have promised both men a chance to settle their score over the NO TURNING BACK weekend.
The focus of the weekend, however, will be a series of 8 Qualifying Matches (4 each night) for entry into March’s 1PW World title tournament. Plans are already afoot to send the title on tour to Canada, the United States and Japan and across Europe, but the question remains: who will be the first-ever 1PW World champion? Join us at The Dome in Doncaster this coming January to see 16 warriors begin the grueling journey towards this ultimate prize.
