PWInsider.com is reporting that Dave Batista was broken up about having to give up the WWE World Title and being out for months due to his triceps injury.
Batista actually asked management if he could work through his injury, but WWE turned down his request as allowing him to work through the injury would be risky, as his not fully recovered from his lat injury.
WWE.com has announced he will be having surgery on Thursday in Birmingham, Alabama. He is not expected to return until after Wrestlemania.
