IPW:UK: Maximum Head vs. The Dragon Hearts Signed For "A Taste of IPW"

PRESS RELEASE
FOR IMMEDIATE DISTRIBUTION

Maximum Head vs. The Dragon Hearts Confirmed For February 18th

» Maximum Head (Max Voltage & Dan Head) have been chosen to step in at the breach and make their IPW:UK debut against the first-time-tagging duo of The Dragon Hearts (Spud & Dragon Phoenix).

Both teams employ high-risk hard offence, and all four men have reputations of taking beatings and being extremely hard to down for a pinfall – could a submission be the way through in this match?

Spud is coming off of last month’s big Street Fight with ‘Sadistic’ Jack Storm, and has decided to follow the Sadistic one into the world of Tag Team Wrestling. Originally scheduled to tag with Phoenix against The Kartel, this bout was changed when The Kartel decided to take a title shot for the Scottish tag championship, spurning IPW and a chance to build bottom up for the IPW:UK tag titles once again.

But with every cloud there is a silver lining, and this is said lining for Head and Voltage. Graduates of the Mark Sloan Portsmouth wrestling academy, alongside such names as current WWE star Paul Burchill, and other IPW names Aviv Maayan, Andy Simmonz and James Tighe, Voltage is the more explosive of the two men, with Dan Head the workhorse of the team. Such a workhorse in fact, that he is currently the FWA:A Academy champion, with coming on a near year-long reign as champion.

With a high-risk attitude, comes either huge rewards or swift defeat. Which of these evenly matched teams will out – the more experienced of the two teams tagging together, Maximum Head, or the new-twosome, The Dragon Hearts?

Leroy Kincaide – Spectacular In Tag, Spectacular In Singles

» After a spectacular debut back in November, it took Leroy Kincaide UNDER ten minutes to dispatch of Untouchables member ‘The Human Hate Machine’ Dave Moralez.

Moralez, who had the crowd on his back from the second he stepped into the Orpington Halls, was almost split in half by Kincaide’s devastating spear. Now, after taking on ‘The Human Hate Machine’, he has to take on two of IPW:UK’s finest in three way action, as it’s Leroy Kincaide vs. James Tighe vs. Aviv Maayan.

Maayan, the former IPW:UK champion, has fallen down in the rankings since losing the title last July. So far, that he actually wasn’t scheduled for his first IPW:UK Orpington event in 14 months this past January. But he now has two major opportunities. Firstly, to get his foot firmly back in the IPW:UK door, and secondly, to get his hands once again on his #1 problem, James Tighe.

Tighe had an interesting 2005 for IPW:UK. Coming in for May’s Best of British Heavyweights contest, Tighe made it to the final three before being downed by Andy Boy Simmonz and his Running Powerslam. He then failed in tag competition with Justin Richards, before causing the upset and taking out international foe, TNA’s Chasyn Rance, via submission. Tighe then went on to lose to Simmonz in singles competition, and then in November defeated Maayan, when Maayan was at below 100%. Now, fully fit after much gym time and many bouts around the country, it’s Tighe and Maayan once again – what will the outcome be this time?

Triple Threat: Kincaide vs. Maayan vs. Tighe – February 18th, “A Taste of IPW”.
