3CW: Updated Card For Sunday’s Show

Thanks to 3 Count Wrestling for sending the following in:

“MR 50/50” RETURNS FROM INJURY IN SINGLES SHOWCASE!

The big news for the show in North Ormesby this Sunday is that after missing Midsummer Showdown through injury, a rejuvinated “Mr 50/50” Dan Evans returns to action in North Ormesby in singles competition! Evans, who has sworn revenge against former tag team partner Vincent D White after his betrayal in Gloucester, will face a different kind of challenge in North Ormesby – that of 3CW mainstay and the man on the hottest streak of his life, Darkside! 3CW officials understand that White has a “prior engagement” – whatever that means to the ruthless ex-hitman – and will not be present on the 13th, which means that Evans will have a chance to try and show the world exactly what’ll be waiting for White upon his return – against stiff opposition in the hugely talented master of the Darkest Driver!

THE UNBREAKABLES DEBUT IN NORTH ORMESBY!

It was evident for all to see that EdEn was scewed out of Lord of the Ring progression by a certain Wild Thing at Midsummer Showdown, but one positive coming out of the show for the master of the Hellavator was the back up he received from rookie Martin Kirby, who himself had earlier narrowly lost out to Blake Norton. On the 13th we understand they’ll hook up as a TAG TEAM for the first time, and have been lent the nickname of Martin Kirby’s mentor, Stevie Lynn – the UNBREAKABLES will be in the house, and they’ll face off against the menacing “Best Kept Secret” Anthony McIntyre and Little Dragon… along with, of course, Sean David in tow…

EXODUS TO MAKE 3CW DEBUT!

Midlands monster Exodus – the menacing, masked denizen of such promotions as Triple X Wrestling and IPW:UK – is we understand set to be granted a chance to impress at North Ormesby in the first of a number of fresh talents to be given opportunies to impress the Middlesbrough locals. His opponent on the night will be none other than GBH! Harland, last seen narrowly losing out to Darkside, will certainly face an imposing challenge in the huge Exodus, whilst the big man will certainly not have come across anyone slightly as unhinged as Harland further south!!

SCOTTISH BAD BOY HEADS SOUTH FOR MEXICAN STANDOFF!

In the final match to be added to the big show in the Trinity Centre, we have another 3CW debutant, as the Scottish Bad Boy, Liam Thompson makes his first appearence in a 3CW ring. Hailing from the highlands and fully intent on raising hell, Thompson comes with a pedigree, being a former Cruiserweight Champion north of the border. He will, however, certainly face tough competition on the 13th, as he squares off against the Mexican Kraze, El Ligero! Ligero may have had the “night off” at Midsummer Showdown, but it’ll be all action on the 13th!

IMPORTANT PAC INJURY UPDATE

3CW Heavyweight Champion Pac will, unfortunately, be unable to compete on Sunday the 13th of August. Pac had been promoted locally as being a part of the show due to promotional materials going to press before news of recent injury woes broke, and 3CW officials had hoped “the Man That Gravity Forgot” would be declared fit in time to compete on the show. Unfortunately this has not been the case, and we feel it more important that Pac returns at 100% than risks injury – and indeed his Championship – whilst unfit to wrestle. We apologise to any locals expecting the Champ in action, but we can reveal that Pac WILL be in attendance in a non-wrestling capacity.

PRE SHOW TRAINING – WITH TRACY SMOTHERS!

3CW is proud to announce that in-ring training will take place as usual prior to the show this Sunday, and is to be led by former ECW/WWE mat veteran Tracy Smothers.

The day will begin from around 10:30am, and can be expected to run until around 4:30-5pm to allow time for the proper preperation of the venue for the evening show.

The session is open to all comers, and is priced at £10 a head. For those wishing to also take in the show – also featuring Tracy – in the evening, a discount will be available to cover both fees.
