Welcome to the interactive UK Scene with me, your ever lovable Saz, this week sees some wrestling organisations awake from the summer slumber and sad news of injuries.


Interesting part this week is the return of the Ireland section of the UK Scene, the question is though, have these federations popped up on the back of TWC? Or have they always been there?


What we do care about in all aspects of the UK Scene is your opinion, especially the paying punter, so if you have a say you are more than welcome to express it, whether it is a popular opinion or not.


East


ACW (www.acwrestling.co.uk) have announced their next show on Saturday 14th October held at the Oakgrove Leisure Centre in Middleton, Milton Keynes.


Set to appear are: ACW Heavyweight Champion Samson, ACW Light Heavyweight Champion Silver Mask, ACW Tag Team Champions The Players Club, Bull Harley, Sam Steel, Vyper, Matt Naylor, Tank, Frantastic, Brendon O’Shea, Lewis Cooper, Dan ‘The Sadist’, Mia, Jade, Brian Braddock and Peter Staniforth.


North


NPWA will present their fifth “Strive to Survive” show on Friday 29th September at Mr Earl’s Club in Ince, Wigan.


Current card reads:



  • The Fireball vs. Jonny Storm

  • The Governing Body Vs NPWA International Champion Crux, Josh Rhodes and “The Human Wrecking Machine” Sebb

  • Paul “Flash” Andrews Vs Kevin OmeGa

South


IPW:UK (www.ipwuk.com) have had injuries to both Andy Simmonz (broken ankle) and Super Dragon (concussion). These wrestlers will not be appearing on Saturday 23rd September at the Orpington Halls in Orpington, Kent


HEW have changed the card for “Here We Go Again 2006“, held on Saturday 30th September at The Stansted Mountfitchet High School in Stansted, Essex.

Midlands


FCW (www.futurewrestling.co.uk) have updated their Ring Warrior Tournament card at “Endurance” on Sunday September 24th at the The Baggeridge Social Welfare Centre in Lower Gornal, West Midlands.


Card reads:


Ring Warrior Tournament: Entrants announced so far are Staxx, Carl Mizzery, A-Star Athlete, Kevin O’Neil, Brandon Thomas and Weasel.


FCW have also announced the cancellation of their October 7th show citing an inability to complete the work in time to give the show the attention it deserved.


Ireland


CPW (www.celticprowrestling.com/) presents their “Celtic Revolution 2” show at the Good Counsel GAA Club in Dublin, Ireland on Saturday 23rd September.


The show will mark their 1st anniversary and it will feature a tournament to crown the first ever CPW Tag Team Champions.

UCW (www.ucwonline.com) will present their “Unfinished Business ’06” show on Friday 6th October at the Wellington Park Hotel in Belfast, Ulster,Northern Ireland.
