— Sources say Vince McMahon went nuts the other day after RAW writer Brian Gewirtz told him Roddy Piper had said he would be one of the choices for Guest Referee in a RAW brand match at Cyber Sunday, at a wrestling convention over the weekend. Vince immediately nixed Piper from the match and then said they wouldn’t be using him as an option in the foreseeable future. What is odd about this is there were commercials airing for Cyber Sunday in Canada advertising Piper, Foley and Austin as the choices. It appears Piper may have got nixed for no reason at all. The current commercial lists Austin, Foley and JBL as the choices.
