Monday’swas undoubtedly one of WWE’s biggest in years. As WWE Champion sought revenge against for RKOing his wife, Stephanie McMahon, last week, Raw took home the TV ratings prize. Monday night’s show was Raw’s most-watched episode in two years!
The USA Network show took in a 4.1 U.S. household rating with 6,031,000 total viewers – that’s 32,000 more Raw viewers this week than last. It was Raw’s biggest night since Feb. 26, 2007 – when billionaire Donald Trump first appeared on the show.
More members of the WWE Universe watched Raw than the entire Monday night primetime line-ups of MTV and FX combined. Raw was also the No. 1 show among male teens ages 12 to 17, topping House, Heroes, 24, Two and a Half Men and CSI: Miami. More males watched Raw on Monday night than both NCAA men’s basketball games combined, The O’Reilly Factor and Hannity combined, plus The Big Bang Theory, New Adventures of Old Christine, Heroes, How I Met Your Mother, Chuck and Medium. Overall, Raw was the most-watched cable program Monday night.
Monday’s Raw rating shows growth across all key demographics. Twenty-eight percent more males ages 6 to 11, 24 percent more males age 25 to 54, and 19 percent more people ages 25 to 54 tuned in to see “Legacy” get hammered by The Game and the announcement that Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat would be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame at the 25th Anniversary of.
