It was announced on ECW that, at Extreme Rules, Christian will defend the ECW Title against Jack Swagger & Tommy Dreamer in a Triple Threat Match contested under Hardcore Rules. Since Dreamer’s contract is supposed to expire on June 6, Interim ECW General Manager Tiffany said that Dreamer signed a "one day extension" to compete at Extreme Rules. If Dreamer does not win the ECW Title at Extreme Rules, he will leave ECW & the WWE.
