The Bash will come to you, live on pay-per-view, from the ARCO Arena in Sacramento, CA on June 28. Two championship matches were announced on SmackDown. Here is the updated card:
- WWE Championship: Randy Orton Vs. Triple H
- World Heavyweight Championship: CM Punk (c) Vs. Jeff Hardy
- ECW Championship Scramble Match: Tommy Dreamer (c) Vs. Christian Vs. Jack Swagger Vs. Finlay Vs. Mark Henry
- Intercontinental Championship: Title Vs. Mask: Chris Jericho (c) Vs. Rey Mysterio
- Women’s Championship: Melina (c) Vs. Michelle McCool
- Unified Tag Team Championship: Primo & Carlito (c) Vs. Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase
The rules of a Championship Scramble Match are as follows:
- Two wrestlers start in the ring.
- Every five minutes, another competitor enters the match.
- When there is a decision rendered, the wrestler who scores the fall will be the interim champion (not an official reign as champion).
- After the last wrestler has entered, there will be a five minute time limit on the match.
- Whoever is the interim champion when the time limit expires will be the champion.
- If there are no decisions, then the champion coming into the match retains the title.
In the match for the Intercontinental Title, it will be Chris Jericho putting up the title against Rey Mysterio, who is putting his mask on the line. If Rey Mysterio wins, he will win the Intercontinental Title and get to keep his mask. However, if Chris Jericho wins, he retains the Intercontinental Title and Rey Mysterio must unmask.
