The Wrestling Observer is reporting that Sheamus suffered a concussion at The Elimination Chamber PPV and was therefore pulled from Raw the following night. The original plan was to have Cena face Sheamus in a number one contender’s match, but due to the injury, WWE replaced Sheamus with Batista.
While nothing specific has been reported, Triple H was also feeling the effects of the match and did not appear on the show.
