Jim Ross announced on his new blog that he will be signing a contract extension this week with WWE so they can go past WrestleMania and also allow more time to finalize a new agreement. Ross’ contract was about to expire just prior to WrestleMania and he made it no secret that if everything is okay he would like to return to call the show. Ross said that the new agreement will hopefully see him "remaining with WWE for the long term future" and that he’s "hopeful that all will work out to everyone’s mutual happiness at the end of the day." JR has been off television since mid-October after suffering his third Bell’s palsy attack.
