This week I have been busy casting my eyes over the UFC new releases the one put under the microscope now will be UFC Ultimate Knockouts. The title speaks a bit for itself and will leave many people wanting to buy it to see the ultimate knockouts in UFC history and there have been some classics and this release has them all.

This is one of the two first compilation offerings from the UFC in the UK. With UFC video releases now picking up pace with them coming out thick and fast. These titles though are a new chapter for UFC as we are use to just buying and watching the main events but now we have best of compilations to keep us entertained.
The show starts off with all of the razzmatazz of Professional Wrestling with pyrotechnics, lights and music but when the matches start it is all business. Our commentators for the night Jeff Osbourne and Mike Goldberg give us a brief run down and introduction to the nights matches alongside special guest UFC heavyweight fighter Randy Couture. Then it is straight into the action no hanging around over analysing the matches and event.
The presentation of this video is completely different from UFC:35 which I reviewed last week. This event is more for the first time or casual fan where as UFC:35 I feel is for the long time UFC fans as it is straight action. The video starts with music and lights as well as being welcomed to UFC:36. Very glitzy opening which leads us to the first fight.
This week I had the pleasure of viewing UFC 38 on video thanks to the good people down at UFCVideo.com. This event was the first time that the UFC had held an event on UK shores so it was a night of history in the making. The show was presented live on Sky Box Office at the time of the event but now for those of you who missed it or want to keep this brilliant event on video to watch time and time again it has been put on VHS for general release.
